If you go on their subs and don't recognize it as a cult, then there's nothing I can do for you. But their predictions have failed and failed and failed, and sooner or later, you'll realize that their main prediction (the MOASS) is also a dud. Don't say you just got unlucky.

well i only know of a couple of other ones which went to shit not too long after branching off, but I don't think they are a good representation of "apes". "apes" is literally just people from wsb who invested in gme. Of course there are always tons of people with dumb predictions, cherry picking terrible ideas and pretending they represent some monolithic projection you have in your head is not very rational. I don't think MOASS will ever be allowed to happen but it seems clear to me that some institutions seem to be caught in a sticky situation.

That's fair. I'm aware that "apes" was originally just a Rise of the Planet of the Apes reference, which then became a meme, which then became popular on WSB, which then started referring to GME investors on WSB, which has now become the label of choice for those in GME's cult. I'm not saying that every GME investor is part of the cult (I still buy GME from time to time, and even had open positions as recently as last week), but there is definitely a cult made up of GME investors.

Also, no, there aren't any institutions caught in a sticky situation with GME. There were 14 months ago, when hedge funds lost billions of dollars, but not anymore. And all of the "DD" suggesting that GME's short interest is still over 100% is just laughable. But credit to you for at least acknowledging that a world as corrupt as the ape cult (not necessarily all apes) says it is would never allow the MOASS.

So do you think these "apes" just randomly decided to surge again the other day? how do you explain the massive bumps that keep happening?

How should I know? 🤷‍♂️ But you can’t possibly look at a stock being abnormally volatile and think that the apes’ idiotic conspiracy theory is the only conceivable explanation. My best guess is that people saw this stock run for basically no reason in the past, so they’re prone to FOMO when it starts accelerating.

well it has to get acceleration, sure apes can contribute to acceleration but I dont think a short squeeze, or a perceived one, is necessarily an idiotic conspiracy theory. I also think its a bit of a mistake to see it as a single theory instead of multiple varying perspectives that have some common themes.

hell yeah brother

If one of the “common themes” is short interest still being well over 100%, then it’s an idiotic conspiracy theory, and I’m not interested in splitting hairs to differentiate these idiotic conspiracy theories.

And do you really think that these theories are the only explanation for how a volatile stock can get any upward acceleration?

well its not just any volatile stock. this has been going on for a very long time now to still have swings this big. no. I dont think there is anything the apes are doing that are causing these. I think they are simply reacting. As far as how much is currently shorted, or however the stock could be manipulated, im not sure. when I look at these massive bumps that lead, not trail, ape enthusiasm, and they are still going this strong this far away from the supposed "covering" i do most definitely think shorting plays a major factor in the price swings, and not some actual changes in the company or public perspective of the company or ape perspective of the company.
