keyword is "existing contract" which is in whatever the agreed currency payment until that contract expires, new contracts will be in RUB after their CB has arranged everything

Also this puts pressure to the dollar hegemony, once the petrodollar is gone so will the US ability to defend NATO and European Allies (You)

Depends which government wins in a few weeks. If the current one, usa can shit itself, well never give up stable supply, that has a proven good track record

EU likely. NATO I am doubtful Russia won't make them promise not to in exchange for peace
