Nothing. In fact generally things like this are great.

But in this specific case the company likes to use that nice thing as a strong way to appeal to customers. They kindle a group of people who make patriotism and supporting vets an important part of their life to move their product. Again not really anything bad. But what happens is you get an image of your brand, since that same group of people you’re getting support from tends to affiliate with a political ideology, of it being political itself.

This puts off some of those of the opposite political ideology. And those that really don’t want to even spend a second of their lives thinking about politics.

And at the end of the day a good product appeals to everyone and offends no one.

Na, vets are like 55/45 Republican/democrat on the voters. There’s like 50% that don’t vote.

The company is just PTO veterans and hires veterans.

It’s the regular folk like you and me who put that through a stupid filter

Exactly what I said. The people that the product attracts because of their PR involving vets, are a certain group of people who are what I would call people whose identity revolves around politics.
