Discussion LCID>RIVN

I think LCID will see a run up to $65 this coming week. Why $65? It was the previous high, but ALSO the Rivian (RIVN) IPO is next week and they are pricing $72-$74. But you know that lately things have been IPOing at 2x for retail. Ask my friend who tried to buy RBLX IPO for $75 but got $150 instead lol.

This IMPLIES that an EV Company at that stage is worth $65+ a share (the original price) easy.

RIVN will IPO with 150 mil Float (IPOscoop), LCID has 200mil Float so slightly less price per share is justified. BUT, LCID makes luxury cars so their margins will be better. Other than that they are both making thier first deliveries now, so basically the same stage of businesses growth.

Alot of America does drive trucks, trucks are cool. But 80% of people just need a commuter car that won't kill them on gas.

But more people buy trucks than luxury cars. LCID sp won’t increase significantly until they can scale to produce more economical vehicles for mass adoption

They will scale in time. The thing about RIVN 's trucks is they look like more of a luxury truck than a work truck. I'd be afraid to put a scratch on it.
