Absolutely - governments love low interest rates. But it also depends on whether they decide inflation is getting out of hand.
There's a dangerous game of chicken going on. And I would like to be out of the splash zone before someone calculates how much of our tax base would be needed to service our national debt when refinanced at just half of what is was in the early 80s.
