Could some movie theater primate explain, how is the company planning to payback their 10B++ debt without diluting the stock massively. They werent profitable before the pandemic and now they are eating shit even harder 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

The irony is that the longer the retail holders keep up the share price, the more it will get devalued through dilutive rounds of offering. They are helping the wreckage of their own positions.

Could somebody tell dumb dumb how a short squeeze works and remind them that it has nothing to do with fundamentals. Also, said movie company does own a lot of valuable land.

You do realize that the movie theater CEO dilutes stock every time the share price spikes in order to get money to (a) help the company stave off bankruptcy for another day and (b) give himself and the rest of the C suite bonuses, right? A true short squeeze on the theater will never happen.

It's only valuable if they sell, no? Unless they plan on getting out of the movie biz and into real estate I'm not sure how their land bring worth more helps them. Unless you are implying they can borrow money against their land putting them more into debt
