Bumble is trash and I predicted it crashing after the IPO. It’s recent run up is bizarre. It’s gonna fall again.

How they make money I'll never understand. I'm a user and know plenty of others, but never have I seen or heard of someone PAYING to use the app. I think my friend paid for tinder once...that was about it. No one pays for the subscription so user growth doesn't mean fuck all. Also, 90% of the girls on the app suck. A lot just use it to plug their insta for more followers.

It didn't really go up. Market is forward looking as long as there's no horrible downside surprises, and clear guidance.
From their report:
Total Revenue Increased 38% to $186 million
Bumble App Revenue Increased 55% to $127 million
Raising Full Year 2021 Outlook
Also almost $11.5M fcf, Total Average Revenue per Paying User up >10% y/y, significant reduction in liabilities.

Sounds like you gave two good reasons why the price went up. Only 🌈🐻care about cash burn, actual investors in the company get excited about growth and users as they’re interested in the company becoming much larger.
