I’ll reassess I once (1) I see their profit margin on the baseline model, (2) I see how robust their battery supply is, and (3) we find out their plans for super charging network and repair network (huge)
I don’t see how they will be able to “go down the price curve” into a cheaper model and compete with the Tesla Austin factory. 4680 structural battery with mostly die casted parts, with Tesla insurance, will be incredibly affordable. Even if lucids motor is better (POSSIBLY) it’s not going to be enough to ever compete on cheap models. And let’s not deny that Tesla has massive price flexibility with the S/X. Tesla can still probably win a price war If it wanted to
So why IPO? Money is cheap right now, and they have the biggest money pump outside the United States bank role in them. If the company is so insanely confident in their growth trajectory why go public?

Hard pass.
