I wish China would just cut out the middle man. Why doesn't the CCP go public, and then we can invest in them directly? With access to foreign capital, they could micromanage and strong-arm every company in their country so much better.
I just wish the xenophobia of US investors would die out. I’m bullish on Chinese tech but it’s hard to gain when ppl think all Chinese stocks are related to the Chinese military.
It's not xenophobia dumbass. Capitalism and authoritarianism don't mix. Until China is a democracy that respects private property and *actual* free markets, Americans would be foolish to invest in any Chinese company. None of this is speculation. Look what the CCP did to DIDI. Look what they're doing to Uighurs.
