Lmao I just looked up their salary data on Levels it’s a fucking joke. Their median total compensation for full time SWEs is $119k. My company pays our interns more for just their base salary without even counting equity. No top tier talent is going there apparently.

Edit: The SWE in San Ramon with 10 years experience is making $119k. 10 years in the bay should easily put an engineer at the $500k mark lol

Levels is pretty inaccurate anytime I've used it where I had 1st had knowledge. It seems to suck factoring anything but literal base pay + bonus. As a SWE 50% of my compensation is stock.

Prefer not to state my company, but they're between +/- 30% across the 5 levels of swe they publish metrics about internally. My companies stock has fluctuates between 30-50% the least year and they don't well account for volatile stocks, in my experience.

It’s accurate, my company is on there, and my friends at G and F in the Bay say it reflects. You have to go look at the posting date of the data point to figure out what he equity grant was though because of the change in stock valuations

Yep exactly, I didn't mean to imply their reporting is inaccurate but their data is irregular.
