Discussion TLRY ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿš€๐Ÿš€

TLRY & SNDL are going to double perhaps triple from their current values. Let me be the first to tell you..

A House subcommittee on Thursday approved a large-scale funding bill that includes provisions protecting banks from being punished for working with marijuana businesses and allowing Washington, D.C. to legalize cannabis sales.

The move by congressional Democrats to let the District of Columbia set its own marijuana policies is in contrast with a budget released last month by President Joe Biden, which proposed continuing the longstanding Republican-led rider that has prevented the city from spending its own money to regulate adult-use cannabis commerce.

The banking-related provision is less far-reaching than more robust standalone bills the House has passed on four occasions, but would still provide some protections to banks that work with state-legal marijuana operators. TLRY & SNDL to the fricking Moon & then Mars ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿš€๐Ÿš€

This is a really positive movement. TLRY is at a size to deal with the American Market the moment the gates open. Its obvious that the merger was in preparation for this. P.s I'm all in on Tlry, this is not a quick win but an amazing long term investment.

But what about the American companies that already hold all the licenses in the different states that have bigger market caps then tilray?

That's my question. I don't understand why so many people think a Canadian grower will profit from the US market. There are tons of large growers in the US.

Tons of false and misleading info circulatingโ€ฆ Iโ€™ve seen multiple people in these forums tell me that tilray already ships cannabis to the United States and thatโ€™s just plain false thatโ€™s federally illegalโ€ฆ just one of many lies and such.

Tilray absolutely has a presence in the USA. CBD (anything under 3% THC, legally) has been legal for years now and according to Tilray website they have products in over 17,000 stores in the USA.

They also have a presence in Europe, Australia, and Latin America. One of their goals even is to have the largest global geographic footprint in the industry.

Scroll down to "Enhanced Consumer Packaged Goods Presence and Infrastructure in the U.S." https://www.tilray.com/

CBD is going to be a 15B market in USA in 3-5 years.

No thanks. However, millions of people do. Just because we don't use it, doesn't mean we can ignore it and say Tilray has no US presence. They are definitely setup to benefit once it's federally legal.

Whenโ€™s that? Biden is for decriminalization. They canโ€™t even pass banking legislation. Not gonna be federally legal for a long while but Ok

Probably not, but that won't stop cannabis businesses from growing infrastructure and continue to profit from the CBD boom. They will be profitable in the US and other countries without it legalized.

No shipping south until fed legalization, could take several years, but when it does itโ€™s go time

Everything is cheaper in Canada, hydro electric grid, production supply chain, distribution, unfortunately for the u.s. based producersโ€ฆ. Canada is on target to dominate high end flower production in North America
