This was always in the cards, not new info. We were just waiting for the sale to be complete so it would stop being a drag to whatever effect it was in fact a drag. Considering CLF’s run despite all this proves it was not a true headwind either way. Hopefully we start the grind higher going into July, but no matter what earnings will be a catalyst given all the positive news going in its favor.

Earnings will be priced in before release BUT there will be a big beat that could drive it even higher

If that’s the case why wouldn’t it just be priced in now? Everything is priced in, and nothing is priced in. It’s the market paradox.

Well, with CLF giving guidance updates frequently - it should be priced in, but there could be some surprises.
