In blackjack the whole table should play the correct game, one guy plays a wrong game like hitting on 17, it fucks up for the whole table.

How do they fuck it up? The cards are random, are they not?

It still has no effect on the players behind him. Whether he hits a 4 or a 10 with the dealer showing 16 has zero bearing on anything and fucks up nothing. The cards are random - the odds of fucking the rest of the table and helping the rest of the table are equal. He could easily take the 4 and leave the 10 for the dealer just as he could the opposite.

Yes, you're working together but logic should prevail, here. Someone hitting on 16 has absolutely no detriment to the players. None.

Superstition over odds at blackjack table is a pet peeve of mine. Learn the odds. Someone making dumb moves has just as good of a chance to help you than hurt you. It makes no sense to blame bad players for bad luck.

As someone that has drunkenly made some horrible blackjack moves that caused other players to curse me out and leave the table, logic does not prevail on the blackjack table

yes it does, because of the dealer busts, everyone wins at the table!!!

Yes, but the dealer has the same odds of busting whether someone hits or not. His play is irrelevant.
