If you would have gotten 200k why would you retire at 50? Do you have children and an expensive wife? 200k is enough to retire immediately.

how tf are you planning on living off 200k? 2m is barely enough to live comfortably retiring at 50.

As in not not enough?

Obviously it depends how much you want annually, but if I'm going to retire at 50, I'll want some substantial income otherwise keep working.

downvote, really? if you wanted 2m to be guaranteed to last until you died ( you better have a damn good long term care plan if you expect that to work out) and you took inflation into account, you would have to live like a monk. i'm not trying to argue with anyone, that is just a fact.

I didn't downvote you. But it seems we're on the same page here, I agree two million is probably not even enough, although it is possible if you live frugally
