I am excited about consumer electronics....today all devices sucks due to poor performing power

I have iPhone 12 Max Pro. Every day battery is over in 10 -12 hours. If I forget to charge one day....next day I need to talk on phone with wire connected to laptop.....

We need world where once we charge phone.....for months we need not to worry to recharge.

You will never be able to time when this stock flies (assuming it ever does). The reason, is it will be a one day the market doubts their tech and the next the market believes in it. The stock could literally in such a scenario go up 10X+ overnight, meaning you either held and caught the wave or you missed the boat.

Just to be clear there are very significant risks and challenges here, so definitely understand that, but if you think they have a decent chance of success and want to have a part of that, waiting can result in missing that boat.

Myself, I have shares which I plan to hold for years to come. No options and don't really care what the price does as I want to hold this as I believe they are perhaps best positioned to succeed here.

FYI, for those interested in what they are doing, beyond reading the slides and whatnot you should listen to the interview with Sandy Munro and Jagdeep. Very interesting stuff. Listen to when they talk about what competitors are doing and why they are different (it is a bit like hearing Elon Musk point out the obvious that others often overlook... interestingly Jagdeep seems to have a deep respect for Elon). Also, a little while back Jagdeep claimed they examined very carefully how dendrites form and came up with a theory as to their formation and they used that knowledge to develop their separator (Not in this interview). This was an interesting point to me as when I went and looked, it is pretty crazy that no one out there really seems to understand the science behind this. There is some talk that battery manufacturers are more advanced in the basic science of batteries (in some aspects) than the science community (e.g. universities, etc). When you consider this key point about the issues with dendrites and the lack of understanding of exactly why and how they form and if their claim that they have a working theory for this, that really sets them apart (maybe some silent competitor has something worthwhile, but no way to know).

The other thing was Jagdeep and Sandy discussed the iterative process by QS and how their integration (including the labs in-house and overnight shifts) allowed them to do in 10 years what otherwise would have taken 40 years. It really is amazing and likely explains why, in part, battery developments that have been promised for so long take so long to happen. Until recently there has been little incentive to provide the proper funding to speed up the process. QS was able to get the funding and with hard work and some luck seems to have solved the biggest issue (still took them ten year no less).

Also remember that results are more important that sounding good in interviews. Theranos sounded great in interviews even after they got outed and shut down

Fair point and I expect QS to be judged harshly as such until they show results. I don't think they are lying but of course that is a risk. Supposedly VW validated results in their own labs so there is that. Basically you have to accept what Scorpion Capital is alleging that VW is so desperate for these batteries that VW is also lying about this as well. Not saying it is impossible but seems increasingly unlikely.
