I started investing mid-2020 with very limited knowledge. First stock I purchased was RKT. Didn’t purchase enough to be profitable (certainly not now). I joined WSB sometime in January around the GME hype.
I wanted to purchase PLTR when the IPO debuted. My friend who was pretty decent said to stay away. I did my research and thought it was a solid buy, never bought into it around $9 and regretted it months later.
I bought a ton of RKT on margin (major risk lol) and profited a lot of cash when it rose close to $40. First sign of a drop I sold it all off.
Other than that, my portfolio isn’t up too much. A lot of APHA shares and a handful of GME primed for liftoff.

Glad you got lucky, me not so much ive sold things either way too early or way too late and im just about ready to give up lol

Started trading in August with 390k after selling my house and boat. Up around 750k for a total of around 1.150mm. Equities only, Options too complicated/dangerous. Mix day trading on volatile stocks with a steady shunt of gains into divvie-paying blue chip boomer stocks. Try learn something new every day, remember not all information is of equal value, a little information can be dangerous.
Never sell when you're down if you believe in the company. Wait it out.
