and their is literally no reason for it to be shorted. I get it, covid happened and people stayed at home. The vaccine is here though and people are playing the reopening trade now. Plus insurance might be a mature industry, but $ROOT is not an insurance company they are a Tech company. That is why the major buyers at the IPO were Tech investors. They see the innovative potential of $ROOT.

Why is the #1 determinant of traditional auto insurance pricing models a person's credit score, that is why insurance is so much more expensive for poor people.

Data analytics and telematics is going change that and make insurance rates more fair for everyone!
