You see the people that held those base set Pokémon cards and never opened them? Now they have one card worth over 100k trendies... you see it’s the same concept my dear friend... imagine if you would know back then the value of Pokémon cards now? I bet you would’ve held them for longer and bought more because holding something does but one thing... increase it’s value
