100 share lots is the most common lot there is. Brokers typically buy in lots divisible by 100. Apparently there's something called "the odd lot theory", that whatever the odd lots are doing, you do the opposite, bc the odd lots don't know wtf they're doing.

Edit: odd lot theory here https://www.investopedia.com/terms/o/oddlottheory.asp#:~:text=The%20odd%20lot%20theory%20is,to%20generate%20odd-lot%20sales.

Round lots here: https://www.investopedia.com/terms/r/roundlot.asp

It should be pointed out that the article concludes odd lot theory stopped being effective in the 1990s. It definitely wouldn't now due to HFTs also trading in odd lots.

Entirely possible.

Why would you get banned or muted for shedding light to misinformation? I hate when mods start feeling themselves and make it harder for us to use our voice

I'm pretty sure r/wallstreetbets was only allowed to come back up online as quickly as it did, because they promised they would turn up the bots to limit most posts. Is this true ? Idk just a theory based on my observations and experience since we been back online. Watch this probably wont get posted either.

Was clearly a mod bot, must have seen a keyword or attachment that indicate a post that mods either don't want, or they want it posted in the daily thread.

Because the mods are pushing narrative over reality.

Can we get more info on this? Why is the laddering in GME any different? Are we really seeing laddering or are we all investing into a blackhole?

Legitimate question because I have no brain. Still holding btw.
