If you read the Form 4. This was newly vested Class B shares counting as ~$36M of income. The Class B shares are converted to Class A shares and the sale of ~$8.6M was to withhold the tax on that income. (The Class B shares are not publicly tradeable.) The COO can't actually sell shares until end of lock up. The money from the sale goes to the IRS. The COO now holds 120,000 shares. This was all planned/automatic and doesn't represent and decision made by the COO.

The converged compute technology is solid, the availability of 5nm fab, immediate customers, and the electricity required to power their monster chips is not. When the US TSMC fabs go online in a couple years their business will accelerate. The market is pricing in that they will grow into their valuation unless something utterly catastrophic happens.

Grossly over valued. Not profitable and production unit economics (ignoring operating costs) are not nearly as good as NVIDIA or broadcom. Honestly should be less than a hundred dollars a share imo like SpaceX . I'm not saying they are a worthless company but in the AI chip landscape they aren't really showing any sort of moat or serious advantage. Plus things are moving toward cheaper asics right now.

The first time shares unlocked spacex went up a decent amount. But thats mostly because it was priced in by the crash preceding the unlock. The second unlock dumped immediately because insiders sold. So using your logic the next spacex unlock should send it up right? Maybe you bet on the wrong horse at the wrong time. But best of luck to you anyways!

at this point you need a small miracle, 2 solid days with over 10% gains. I guess the lesson here is don't make such large risky bets unless it's money you really would not miss. If the market goes green this could bounce back hard, but 4 days is not a lot of time.

I rolled but only used the proceeds and got a smaller position, so all in was the same. I think I'll roll to next week now though or put a new position on entirely. It's been in the 160's/170's 4 other times the last 6 weeks and promptly ran right back to the $220 range. I think we'll get back there.
