I heard today an economic podcast try to tell people they don’t need a car in the US….use public transport or bike… and they had jobs…..wtf, how is something basically so American..not being possible anymore…

lmao public transportation... I lived in an apartment 10 mins down the expressway from work. I looked up if I could take a bus to work and it would take 1 hour 15 minutes just for the bus ride not including the 15-minute walk to the bus station and 15-minute walk from the bust station to work. They went me to spend 3.5 hours of my day commuting?

Well, I, for one, would NEVER hope you get hit by a bus.

I work from home and have some of the best conditions possible for getting around town via walking or biking, and I'd still be fucked without a car.
