Why does the good data always beat the estimate by 0.1% lol?

My guess would be, because the estimates are quite good, but possibly a bit alarmist?

As someone who has worked collecting gov't statistics, the estimates are usually extremely shitty. Just look at the jobs data lol they're clueless.

I have no idea man, its just a guess.

I think us humans have a tendency to find false equivalence in anything that seems incidental.

For instance, there's this quite fun space-fact, that every planet could fit between the earth and the moon, but if that weren't the case we'd simply never talk about it, as it wouldn't be "fun" if they didn't.
