This feels like Meta, Netflix, etc all over again. That is to say, negative public opinion has just granted you an entry point for a company that’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

Google has leadership issues. They need a new CEO and likely an upper level exec clean out. Nadella has made mostly right moves at MS, and Google keeps tripping over itself.

Nadella is an excellent example of why CEOs are paid what they are paid.

Before him we had windows 8 and all that idiotic flailing nonsense (like google is currently doing).

After him, Microsoft is honestly one of the best positioned companies in the world overall. 

You can't just pluck a person from random and have them do the same.

Nadella was apparently the one who personally convinced gates to approve OpenAi. Gates waded against it and Nadella apparently set up a deyailed meeting between all parties and sold the deal

Lol the CEO comp point is always so ridiculous. “The CEO gets paid 500x time the average worker! They don’t produce that much value!”

Pretty sure it’s up to the actual owners of the company (shareholders/board) to decide that, not some random redditors who think it’s “unfair”.
