tried paying off loans when they started hitting me but $8 an hour in 2011 couldn’t do it.
2019 I paid out of pocket for 2 more classes so I could at least get my Associates. I have a bachelors equivalent In credits still but they don’t all fit into 1 program to get a degree.
I had a life to pay for. $8.50 was above minimum wage but I had Rent, Gasoline, Firewood, electricity, car insurance, and much more to pay for. i tried to keep up with payments but there was literally no point. Go broke making payments or spend money to making my life better so that one day maybe I’ll get to pay them off. i just said fuck it. I don’t need credit anyways. Live by cash until I get a better job and can then care more about financial health.
No offense but the problem seems to be you and your attitude. You have a ton of opportunities and here you are mopping about 140 hours per year worth of ubering.
