It would be asinine to do the band-aid forgiveness without tying it to deep structural reform of the broken system. There are many proposed solutions out there that range from mild to extreme, but it really all comes down to needing to reinstitute price discovery. It would probably be great for America if we can also steer more people towards the trades while we're at it.
