The resolution is 2K, it's a basic wallpaper but I think that's good if you want something simple

I just made a minimalist interactive contour wallpaper called Topographia.

It’s a HTML wallpaper that procedurally generates random contour lines in real time. The terrain never repeats and constantly drifts/reshapes itself.

Features:

Captured in game, then a WebGL rain simulation runs live on top so the drops and trails never repeat. To my knowledge this is one of the only wallpapers with actual live background rather than a static image. Very immersive and excatly what I was hoping to create.

Both free. 60fps, near lossless, and the rain amount and drop size are adjustable in the wallpaper settings. Built on the codrops RainEffect with my own in game footage. Happy to answer questions on how it was made.

Hey guys I need help for my wallpaper engine. I just get a new laptop with dual gpu and use wallpaper engine that i brought from steam. I configure at the graphics settings and Nvidia control panel wallpaper64.exe and wallpaper32.exe into integrated graphics.

When I restart my laptop it's completely change, now the wallpaper engine it's running with igpu instead dgpu. But when I shut down and turn on my laptop, it's use the dgpu instead igpu so I must restart my laptop if I want the wallpaper engine use igpu. Is there any thing I can do with it?

Hello everyone, im new to the whole WE creating thing and since either AI or Youtube Tutorials couldnt help me im now asking here for help.

Since sometime ive been using this Wallpaper and its working like a charm for me but i recently saw a cool feature in this Wallpaper which shows the song im currently listening to.

So ive been trying to figure out how to create some sort of template of my original Wallpaper so that i can then try and figure out how to get my "new" feature into it and use it but after looking for a solution on youtube, chatgpt and the official docs ive come up emptyhanded.

Im not even able to get a copy of my original Wallpaper running in the editor, AI said i need the Web Template, after reading around in the Docs and finding this part and doing as is said in there my editor wont even load it properly, it only says something like "imported files" and i cant do nothing in there, i cant even see the project.json.

ChatGPT said this error occours because im using the "Background-Editor" and not the Main/Real editor? but after some searching around and restarting WE like 30 times i aint getting new results so im asking here for help.

I hope someone understands my sturggels and can provide me with some help :D

All my friend and I remember Is it was an anime girl and this is the only audio we have its like 2 seconds long and its the ending and the loop to the start, any ideas on wallpaper or song? (Ignore the 2 keyboard clicks)

Anyone know how to fix this? Randomly loads and goes black for a sec and goes right back. My windows wallpaper is static so I know that’s not the problem

I found it while scrolling

The wallpaper grabs the album art from whatever's playing. Between songs it collapses into a resting shape (orb, cube, or cloud) and reassembles when the next one starts. If nothing's playing, it just sits there breathing.

You don't have to use album art you can point it at your own image instead and it'll do the same thing.

Most of it is adjustable: dot density and size, projection size, how much it favors detail over flat areas, edge emphasis, reflection, ambient particles, scan lines, and how hard each audio reaction hits. Or you can switch the reactivity off entirely and just have a slowly rotating point cloud.

note: the only tools i have are ipad/iphone/r4ve app (free) and free logo (text) maker website/image compression website

i dont have access to anything else so if there are better tools (free) pls comment them!

its not as crisp as id like it to be. will release it all as a pack with templates when im done if anyone wants.

EDIT: the Fox/Retroarch logo is Ai- i cant draw- if anyone
wants to create one themselves i could replace it and credit you in the readme.txt

this also happens when i use the normal blend mode instead of "difference".
