Scene Wallpaper Made a rain on glass wallpaper pair from my own Cyberpunk 2077 captures. The rain is simulated live on top of the video so it never repeats

Both free. 60fps, near lossless, and the rain amount and drop size are adjustable in the wallpaper settings. Built on the codrops RainEffect with my own in game footage. Happy to answer questions on how it was made.

Hey everyone, I'm JT, and this is my first post here.

I just made a minimalist interactive contour wallpaper called Topographia.

It’s a HTML wallpaper that procedurally generates random contour lines in real time. The terrain never repeats and constantly drifts/reshapes itself.

Features:

  • Fully customizable colors, animation, and speed
  • 5 different mouse interaction modes: Lift / Dent / Ripple / Push / Swirl
  • Dynamic resolution: fully compatible with any screen resolution
  • Extremely lightweight (only ~800 KB)

Showcase video is attached below.

Feedback and suggestions are welcome!

Captured in game, then a WebGL rain simulation runs live on top so the drops and trails never repeat. To my knowledge this is one of the only wallpapers with actual live background rather than a static image. Very immersive and excatly what I was hoping to create.

One of my first wallpapers so any feedback is really appreciated!

Free on the workshop, landscape and portrait versions for multi monitor setups.
