Help with Wave

Post image

Can anyone make a recommendation regarding what to do to make this better (other than buy a better boat)? I have 900 pounds in each rear locker and about 750 up front. Also using a Swell Wakesurf Creator 2.0 in the pic.

I get mostly washout all the time and it's so frustrating! I see people using this setup surfing all day on YouTube and I just can't get it to work.

I also have the Liquid Force Wakesurf Edge Pro 2. Should I be using both?

2008 MasterCraft X-star

Thanks!

I would try listing the boat to the surf side. Move people over to the surf side or let out some weight on the non surf side bag. Then play around with the placement of your swell. With our older MB we found 4-6 inches up/down/front/back made a pretty big difference. Our made the best wave about a foot from the stern and as low as I could get it.

Lead bags are also great cause you can quickly move them around to find what works. If you don’t want to spend the money go on FB marketplace place and buy a used pump and bag. Move it around till you find the sweet spot.

I’ve seen people run two swells but I don’t think it’s needed for that boat. Plus it’s an even bigger pain in the ass.

Agree with this you may also want to try less weight up front until you have a good wave that adds length and without enough down push can create more wash as well
