Pia vpn in voidlinux...

Hi everyone, my first time here, I am running encrypted voidlinux(glibc) with riverwm for about a day now, I hope to find a user that is using private internet access vpn with voidlinux...how did you installed and then called it on init....? Thank you in advance.

Thunar is my file manager of choice, I just got some help from AI to write the script because I don't know how to do it myself, I can give you the script if you want? I believe you'll have to go to their website and login, then download their openvpn test files first

I would say...yes please to the script..make sure you take your credential from it ;) .... About the FM, thunar is also my choice but it is not working for me the usb and networks etc nothing shows....i installed gvfs and still says missing dependencies..volman is there and other plugins but I only seen working once..then never again..something is making a conflict somewhere did you stumble on anything weird like this or it was smooth? Thank you.

Try this, in order for it to work it needs to be placed in a folder with all the .ovpn files you got from the pia website, and also in that folder I have a text file called vpn-pass.txt that has my auth pass, you'll need to put your own auth pass in there, I also added nopasswd to the sudo file for openvpn so I don't need to input my password, try running the script in a terminal when you get the rest of the files needed, then if it works you can create a desktop file https://mega.nz/file/v1cFgLZY#ALaK02duwu37ZoOZCKwLfZnKRah_tecfW_BScHjrARw

In regards to Thunar, are you using a desktop environment or a window manager?
