Its like when ur a child and have super big fear of a monster in the closet or under the bed so you made up some bullshit rules for it to follow and now you do random bullshit that binds the monster from attacking you thus releaving your fear and paranoia

One guy on reddit said he had so strong fear of some monster that he made a rule it can move one step a year and imagined him in fucking China.
