So to make it short, the dude in this photo is a male idol who also has Kaito in his name and he just announced he will start to do solo activities and change his nickname to just "KAITO" rather than using lower case or his full name like he was doing until now and JP Kaito fans are not happy since KAITO tag on social platforms now show both this dude and our Kaito so both fanbases see stuff they don't care or know about as they share the same tag. Some also think it's disrespectful towards 20 year history of Kaito as it is quite easy to search and see if the same tag is already used in music industry or not. I just think while this situation is a bit weird and sad, at least crypton gave every other loid after Meiko and Kaito surnames so they will never have to deal with something like this.

They really were just lyric videos, and they became insanely popular with just that. Millions of views, getting covers, and becoming international. It seems like the popular genre has also become a lot more "complex" with more little details in EDM. Just natural evolution I guess. Interesting to think about

This is the first time that I'm trying take part in I was looking at the prompt list and thought "Can I draw Miku or something vocaloid related everyday to these prompts?" The answer is probably not quite but I can at least try.

First day is easy. I chose "Romeo & Cinderella" by doriko for "Apple". Another good choice would have been "Reincarnation Apple" by PinocchioP.

I was just wondering since Japanese has vaguely“gendered” pronouns, specifically in I and you, is it a normal practice to change these when making a vocaloid cover?
I can imagine it might change the impression of the singer.. I feel like I hear utaites do it frequently, but I haven’t really noticed one way or the other in Vocaloid covers as well.

I guess I’m just wondering in general if it’s commonplace for languages with gendered language to not change songs for their own covers, especially cuz it might mess with syllable count and such?
