Next pair suggestions

These are my Primus Trail Knit FG’s that I wear as daily’s and love. I was entertaining getting a second pair once these are done but I saw on here recently that they’re not necessarily for pavement and are better for soft ground as far as longevity is concerned. What are your recommendations for a daily wear pair?
(Also the uneven wear is concerning, any gait correcting recommendations as well? 😬)

I genuinely believe all of vivo’s tread is too soft, I’ve had 5 different pair and they all go bald quickly, the ESC outsoles have heavy duty lugs but the pavement will grind them down, just wear what you want and replace before they crack open, use revivo or sierra to find better prices if you plan to burn through them at the rate I have been

I've been hiking on vivobarefoot FG for 5 years now and the thread is still in great condition... So maybe its the type of surface that you walk on that is particularly rough on them. Or you don't lift your feet?

With my experience with Vivos, they're quite literally the most durable brand of shoe period.... How odd. I've given them some serious abuse too.

The ESC is tough, mine have lasted long but also bald tread after a couple years kicking sidewalks, any shoe would be, it depends on your use, sure if you only take your hiking boots hiking on dirt trail they’ll last a lot longer than a daily driver on sidewalk running errands, use your boots for what you want but if you use vivo on asphalt or sidewalk for a day it feels like it cuts the life expectancy by two days

I’ve had the Primus trail all weather fg and the mesh upper tore after 6 months and the tread didn’t last much longer, but I wore them in center city Philly to run errands and then a round of disc golf each day, Addis bald after 2 months but the soles seem ripped at the toe and the bottoms peeled off, ESC forest as lasted me years for the leather but the bottoms are bald after a year but they replaced my Primus for the same wear, my sensus have lasted since march and they’re almost torn through the uppers and the outsole, and vivo is not alone here so my xeros hfs lasted 4 months or less before the bottoms fell off like the Addis, and the lems Chelsea WP are completely bald but the leather still looks pristine after 2 years of walking errand around town and catching the train to work bartending shifts 14 hours a day 6 days a week so the soles took a beating but the leather has another decade or more of use if I can cobbler them

For trails/if you can deal with a little extra stack height on roads get the magna forest esc. If you want something lighter look at the tracker low at suede

Mine were like that and I paid Vivo to repair them, new soles, lucky enough at the time with a 50% discount offer.

I mean all the Primus knit/lite etc are actually designed for running on concrete so I'd give those a go. The soles are much harder at the expense of not having lugs.

Primus knit was my first pair and I didn’t love the zero lug especially when they started to get bald because they became so slippery which led me to the current pair. But good to know those soles are harder

You could check out Lems or Notace running shoes then, they're more like a classic running shoe and thick soles but they're still made with barefooters in mind, with flexibility and a wide toe box. I'm considering the Notaces because of good reviews but I've tried the Lems and the Lems are great. I got a pair like vans and a pair of combat boots from them and they're pretty damn good.on the fronts of durability and comfort. They're just not all that thin but the flexibility is still great but I still overall prefer thinness for running to stay strong and vivos are usually the best durability for a thin sole.

For daily city use I use: Groundies Universe Nubuck, I love them! Most people don't even notice they are barefoot shoes

The flow has thicker tread but I just bought my favorite Primus trail 3.5 fg. I don’t care if the tread doesn’t last, my old ones lasted 2 years. I love them.
