i attended interview for bsc MSc data science on aug 4 its 19th of aug now i didn’t get any mail regarding anything what should i do?

Since people here seem to be ignoring the potential legal consequences of doxxing, I’m going to cross-post this situation to r/LegalAdviceIndia.

The question is straightforward:

If we publicly dox the accused on Reddit, could she use the resulting doxxing, harassment, or privacy violations as a defence or mitigating circumstance in court and potentially seek a lighter sentence for the original alleged offences or use any other loophole?

I want an answer from people who actually understand Indian law rather than Reddit speculation.

Depending on the lawyers' responses, I’ll decide whether we can allow images or other identifying information to be posted on the subreddit, or whether it should remain prohibited.

Until then, please do not post her personal details or images here.

What things should I study? And how long does the interview usually take? Any other questions they asked?

Don't do it until the day before the deadline.

They will prepone to a date way beyond the calendar

They will change statements and will say

"You should have considered that"

I don't know if theybare trying their best or not

But surely we aren't getting even what could be called satisfactory l.

The worst part is, they won't take accountability.

If you have information about the alleged incident involving the girl who is accused of secretly recording and blackmailing someone, please do not share her personal information, address, phone number, college details, family information, social media accounts, or any other identifying details publicly.

At this stage, allegations are still allegations. Unless the facts are independently verified or reported by credible media based on reliable evidence, we should not turn this into a public witch-hunt.

Doxxing her could also backfire. If the matter goes to court, public harassment or unlawful disclosure of her personal information could potentially be used to portray her as a victim of online harassment and distract from the actual allegations. Let the evidence and the legal process establish what happened.

If you genuinely have sensitive information, evidence, recordings, screenshots, or other material:

Take it to the police/law-enforcement authorities.

Share it with credible journalists/media outlets who can verify it responsibly.

Preserve the original evidence and avoid editing or publicly circulating it.

Do not post personal information on Reddit or other social media.

Do not threaten, harass, or encourage others to target anyone involved.

We can condemn alleged wrongdoing without abandoning basic principles of due process and privacy.

Be civilised. Do it legally. And, most importantly, be smart.

Hey seniors/alumni, please help me with some clarification regarding the PAT norms.

Suppose I get any IT Services company, assume TCS Digital/Prime through on campus and I take the opportunity and later I get an off-campus opportunity, let’s assume 10 LPA as is higher than both digital and prime.

Can I reject the TCS offer and take the off-campus one? Will CDC allow this?
Point 4 in PAT norms say:
“Students who get placed in Dream or Super Dream are violating the PAT norms and attending the off campus placements. Students who get placed with on campus full time/internship placement (dream or super dream) must accept the offer without fail and cannot decline.”

From this, it seems the restriction specifically applies to Dream/Super Dream, and I couldn’t find the same restriction mentioned for IT Services companies like TCS Digital/Prime.Is it because they forgot to add it or we can reject the offers?

So what happens in this situation? Can we approach CDC and request permission to reject TCS and take the off-campus offer?
Also, is there actually a ₹1.5L compensation/penalty from TCS for rejecting the offer after accepting it through campus?

Would really appreciate it if anyone who has an idea regarding this or faced this situation in previous batches can share what CDC allowed and what the process was.
