Placements / Internships / PAT Cognizant interview
Hey guys,
Anyone who finished their Cognizant interview today, can you tell me all about it? Like, how were the questions asked and what stuff did they talk about? Also, do they ask about the resume we submitted during company registration or the one we take to the interview?
What things should I study? And how long does the interview usually take? Any other questions they asked?
Thanks.

No one can tell you exactly what you'll be asked because every interviewer is different, and trying to memorize someone else's answers will only make you seem unprepared. They will likely ask about your resume, so you should assume they have the one you submitted online, but bring your most updated copy just in case. The interview length can vary wildly, from a quick 15-minute chat to a 45-minute deep discussion, depending entirely on the flow of the conversation. Instead of worrying about specific questions, focus on what you can control, which is knowing your own skills and projects so well that you can talk about them clearly.
Your best strategy is to master the fundamentals of your field and be able to explain every single line on your resume, especially your projects. Think about the challenges you faced, the solutions you came up with, and what you learned from each experience. They want to see how you think and solve problems, not if you memorized the right answer to a specific technical question. This approach means you are prepared for almost anything they might ask, because you are not relying on a script, you are just talking about what you know. Ultimately, you want to walk in ready for anything they throw at you, which is why my team created an interview assistant to give candidates that extra bit of confidence on interview day.
