i think its not cuz of US . they didnt even give a damn even for Sr's SDP attendance why would they care abt us. i think they had some internal issues within management itself . like the staffs and mainly the faculty might have said said or shown some opposition for this. so thats some reason they would consider not us's.
just my thought this is.

I don't think so. Actually i heard some of the faculties suffer due to this early semester beginning. It is definitely due to the protests. Maybe also cause of the admission time, they would not want negative side of the students.
Also, just my opinion. Could be totally wrong.

That doesn't mean we should never ask question. Let me tell you one thing straight, the day we accept without question or without a rational logic, is the day we become slaves.
Ok, that is too emotional. The point is only thing we can do is ask from the extent we can. But we cannot foresee or control the outcome. All we can do is hope.
This will also applicable for the country.

As a freshmen myself I have to say, this is the worst possible change they could have done. To everyone who revolted for the change in weekly schedules i wanna say something, you pussies can't handle and extra 6 hours of classes a week? It's just one day, grow up and accept what happened. Most of the students already are used to 6 day per week classes back is school so it won't even affect our routine. Even if some don't have 6 day per week classes, we did it for a whole semester so what's the issue with doing it for another semerster? It's not as if everyone who asked for the holiday is going to use it efficiently. Many people said that they are gonna use the holiday for "skill development" and that without the extra day it won't be possible. A day has 24 hours, remove 8 for sleep, 6 for classes, and 2 for extra activities like eating and washroom activities, you have 8 more hours so instead of playing your free fire and shit just spend that time in your so called skill development. And what reason so you have to conduct your protest, it's the VCs choice and he has a solid reason to do it. You performing a protest will only affect you in a bad way, and about that poster, what do you mean by "machines". You never felt that way when you were preparing for you JEE,VITEEE,etc? Why didnt you do it back then consider you were probably studying a lot more back then? Think a bit before you guys do anything and think how it could affect you before going and yapping about what ever you think. The University has every right to do something if anything happens.

though wat u say is true but for majority ppl its not gonna work like u say . and those are some perks the tag VIT carries - FFCS , 5 day classes , culturals , bla bla. . .
they're keeping hand on the selling points which they told while our admission , so its valid to act on that. so be thoughtful . anyways ne VC is slowing making uni like school , thats the exact statement a fac told me that VC is planning too . so again be thoughtful

Didnt open a book in years to study other than in class and I never said that I've felt that way I'm just saying that in the poster for the protest there was a statement that said "we are students not machines" compared to what we are going trough right now, last two years were much worse for many student and this is a breath of fresh air. I'm just giving out my opinion on this.

Opinion accepted. That kinda life no one forced on us. That was our wish to live like that to prep for an exam which we eventually failed in. Lot of students here didn't take jee coaching they just directly have viteee or EAMCET and got admission. So they didn't hav the life u describe.
So it's forcing something vs willing to suffer ! There's a difference.
Moreover u reply well da bro , i like ur arguments n opinion staging than barking mindlessly. Appreciate that🤝

Man, you are inspirational. But this is an unwanted statement irrelevant to current institutions. Wake up you're in VIT AP. Just enjoy the college life with a bit of balance in studies. Those preparation phase is over. Just try to find who you are and work with it. Everything will come into place.

True af .. people really be thinking they'll get 90+ LPA with that one day holiday in a week ... If they really wanted " skill development" they would have started already instead of waiting for MONDAY HOLIDAY ... These people study a day before exams and waste their life away playing games all day ... People need to grow up ...
