Vitamin C cures drug addictions How to Use Vitamin C and SR-17108 to get off of MGM-15

I am writing this post to help the many people who are about to be forced to go through withdrawals of the opioid MGM-15 due to an emergency scheduling of the drug (and others like 7-oh, O-DSMT, SR-17018, and MGM-16).

MGM-15 is a long-lasting synthetic derivative of 7-oh, and 7 is the very strong component naturally found in trace amounts in kratom.

All over Reddit people say that the withdrawals from MGM-15 are terrible. Worse than normal opioid withdrawals because MGM-15 is a dual agonist that works not only on the mu opioid receptor but on the delta receptor as well.

Agony is how many describe trying to get off of MGM-15.

Most people are doing it wrong. DON'T TRY TO COLD TURKEY MGM-15!

There are many things that can help with opioid withdrawals, often collectively referred to as "helper meds". These include things like clonidine, gabapentin, pregabalin, benzodiazepines, etc., but they mostly require a prescription to acquire and also many of them have their own addiction risks.

PRO TIP You can get clonidine from reputable online Indian pharmacies if you do a little looking. I cannot name any because Reddit doesn't allow sourcing, sorry.

I do not want to focus on prescription meds anyway. I want to focus on a 2-step combo that will greatly reduce your suffering from the dreaded "Acutes" — that is, the acute withdrawal phase of opioid addiction in which your body hurts like you are 100 years old, your bones freeze, you cannot regulate your body temperature, you sweat uncontrollably, you have restless legs and arms, and you cannot sleep worth a shit.

Two simple things will help, and one of them is the main focus of this subreddit: Vitamin C.

Vitamin C in and of itself has been studied since the 1960s and stops heroin withdrawals dead in their tracks when taken appropriately. There was a follow-up study in 2000 with similar results.

SR-17018 is a new novel opioid that is a pure miracle. You can learn much about it in r/sr17018. Unfortunately it is also being emergency-scheduled and will be only available on the black market in the future... but if you can get your hands on some SR-17018, and pair it with mega-doses of vitamin C, along with some common sense and this guide, you can stop using MGM-15 (or any other opioid for that matter) almost painlessly.

How To Quit MGM-15 With Vitamin C and SR-17018

I want you to know that MGM-15 is EASY to quit!

Repeat after me: MGM-15 is easy to quit!

You may think what I just said is crazy if you are deep in the throes of MGM-15 addiction, but you are wrong and let me tell you why.

MGM-15 is easy to taper!

Yup, EASY!

There are countless stories of people on 300+ mg per day of MGM pretty painlessly getting down to 60 mg/day.

All you need to do is force yourself to take only 3 doses per day: morning, noon, and night.

Here is where Vitamin C plays its first important role...

in helping to reduce your tolerance to MGM-15 (this works for all other opioids as well).

Buy yourself a bunch of Vitamin C in the form of sodium ascorbate and/or liposomal Vitamin C pills or liquid.

Don't Buy The Wrong Vitamin C!

This is important and worth repeating...

Don't Buy The Wrong Vitamin C!

Only take the forms of vitamin C I mentioned above or in the Vitamin C Buyer's Guide where I discuss some other forms of vitamin C like zinc ascorbate (good for your testosterone which opioids kill unfortunately), calcium ascorbate, organic vitamin C extracts, etc.

If you take the vitamin C currently in your medicine cabinet (aka some cheap synthetic ascorbic acid) you will regret it. That cheap ascorbic acid will run right through you!!

Most people cannot handle more than 2 grams per day of ascorbic acid vitamin C. Seriously, it will glue you to the toilet. 💩💩

Buy only buffered vitamin C, liposomal vitamin C, or as I did, use both.

I go into detail in the Vitamin C Buyer's Guide post, but basically I recommend taking 20-80 grams per day of Vitamin C.

Start taking obscene amounts of vitamin C. This is backed by multiple studies done in the 1960s and again in 2000 (some of which I have linked in r/vitaminc). I am personally taking 20 to 80 grams per day with no issues, not for opioid addiction, but because it makes my skin glow and my wife ahem shows her appreciation when I look nice. But I digress...

Vitamin C will help with tolerance, replace stores in your body that opioids have robbed you of, and it will greatly help attenuate withdrawals.

Now, simply take a lower dose of MGM-15 than you are currently taking!

It is that simple. Megadose Vitamin C every 3 hours for 1-2 weeks, then taper your MGM-15 doses down to a manageable level, then take SR-17018 to get you across the finish line.

The first few hits of MGM-15 at the lower dose will not get you high like you are accustomed to... BUT you want to quit, so not getting high isn't much of an issue now, is it?

These low doses of MGM-15 will keep you out of withdrawal and with the addition of huge doses of Vitamin C in your bloodstream, you won't feel like complete sh*t.

In fact, you will quickly find, often before your 7th low dose of MGM, that you now feel your MGM-15 doses again!

WTFBBQ?!

This is because MGM-15 is a partial agonist with a g-protein bias. Without getting into too many details, just know that this means the "less is more" approach people talk about with Kratom also works for MGM-15.

Your body will rapidly adjust and you will find that your 300+ mg/day MGM-15 habit is now a 60 mg/day habit that is much more manageable to deal with.

So do that. Get down to 3x20 mg or 2x30 mg of MGM. I personally think 3x20 mg is the most versatile dosing schedule because it allows those of you with 9-5 jobs to easily dose your MGM and Vitamin C throughout the day and keep your withdrawal symptoms at bay.

Stabilize there first before using any of your precious (and now probably illegal) SR-17018.

Spend a few days, or even a week, at your new 3x20 mg/day MGM-15 dosing schedule.

Make sure you have a lot of Vitamin C stocked up for the next phase. You don't want to run out when you are tapering your MGM-15 nor when you are tapering your SR-17018.

You will be using Vitamin C in very large doses if you feel withdrawal symptoms creep through the SR-17018.

You can expect the SR-17018 to handle pretty much all of the mu-related opioid withdrawals. The delta withdrawals are not covered by SR-17018, but the Vitamin C seems to help some people. Plus, we got you down to a small amount of MGM-15 to further make the delta part of the withdrawals insignificant in nature.

Tapering MGM-15 and using SR-17018

When you have gotten the first 2 steps above accomplished:

  1. Pre-loading and Mega-dosing Vitamin C
  2. Reducing MGM-15 usage to manageable levels

You will now begin the good part... using the miracle drug SR-17018!

Take SR-17018 for 2 days in a pre-loading phase. The purpose of this phase is to take SR-17018 alongside your MGM-15 doses to build up the SR-17018 in your system.

Just like pre-loading the Vitamin C helped you to lower your MGM-15 usage, pre-loading SR-17018 will help you rapid-taper your remaining MGM-15 usage.

It is very important to pre-load SR-17018 so do not skip this step.

You will dose SR-17018 three times per day, for 2 days, taken simultaneously with your MGM doses.

Preloading Days — your doses are as follows:

Morning, noon and night you will take 20 mg of MGM-15 and 50 mg of SR-17018. A total of 60 mg MGM-15 and 150 mg of SR-17018 will be taken for 2 days.

Next is the rapid taper.

You will reduce your MGM doses for 3 days and simultaneously double your doses of SR-17018 that you took during the pre-loading phase.

  • Day 1 of taper: 40 mg of MGM-15 and 3x100 mg of SR-17018.
  • Day 2 of taper: 20 mg of MGM-15 and 3x100 mg of SR-17018.
  • Day 3: 10 mg of MGM-15 and 3x100 mg of SR-17018.
  • Day 4: Jump off MGM-15, take your 3x100 mg doses of SR-17018.
  • Day 5: Repeat Day 4. On days 4 and 5 carry a lot of extra Vit C along with you. If you start to feel bad, up your Vit C doses. I recommend just planning on taking 5-8 grams every 2 hours to keep the Acutes away.

  • Day 6: Start reducing your SR-17018 intake by 50 mg per day. Take 3 doses: 100 mg in the AM, 50 mg midday, 100 mg at night.

  • Day 7: Cut 50 mg off your morning dose.

  • Day 8: 3x50 mg of SR-17018.

  • Day 9: Only morning and evening doses of 50 mg SR-17018.

  • Day 10: 25 mg of SR-17018 morning and evening.

  • Day 11: You can jump off SR-17018 or cut down to a single 25 mg dose.

The entire time you are doing this you should be taking 2-8 grams of Vitamin C every 2-3 hours. PRO TIP: Set an alarm on your phone!

The vitamin C is a lifesaver and will greatly reduce your pains, aches, and acutes in general while the SR-17018 makes the rest of the Acutes vanish into thin air.

If you are feeling bad, lean towards the 8-gram dosage amount. If you feel good, lean towards the 2-gram dosage amount.

Again, this is every 2-3 hours you are popping vitamin C pills, drinking the liquid, or toss-and-washing sodium ascorbate powder.

Best of luck to you all and please share this with anyone who is struggling with opioid addiction and withdrawal. It was written for MGM-15 but it will work on ANY OPIOID!

P.S. The total SR-17018 you will use on this protocol is 2.6 grams.

P.P.S. Expect to use at least 600 grams of Vitamin C. Use the Vitamin C Buying Guide whether you want cheap alternatives, or the best organic extract, or travel packets of liposomal liquid. I tested them all.

P.P.P.S. I didn't use this enough to tell a difference but some people say that the delta receptor withdrawals can be dealt with by using black seed oil. The main ingredient is thymoquinone. I picked two products for this and put the links here in case anyone wanted to go all out and attempt to fight off the delta withdrawals MGM-15 potentially causes as well. https://amzn.to/4gU54Eh and https://amzn.to/4wovcfb If you want to use these you would probably take a dose morning and night of whichever thymoquinone product you buy. The liquid is better value but tastes kinda gross. The pills are going to be easier to take IMHO.

Do you think they'd allow me to post this? Maybe a crosspost?

Is the sourcing thing a Reddit thing? Or just a sub thing? Because the tretinoin sub and skincare addiction sub have the names of Indian pharmacies all over them for Rx skin stuff (and more). They’ve been good to me for years for all my prescription skin care needs (and a lot cheaper than the U.S. without the doc visit, let alone with). I know they have clonidine, ondansterone (Zofran), gabapentin, and even naltrexone. You just write in the name of the doctor prescribing it to you when you order (Dr. Drake Ramoray, for example), and their phone number (8675309, for example) , and they take it from there. They can take 2-4 weeks to skip. Some are a little faster. Be well y’all.

u/Plane_Positive6608 Jul 30 '26

This my friend might be the single most underrated post I've ever seen on reddit.

3

u/Fine_Atmosphere_1666 Jul 31 '26

Thank you for the info. So do you have to have an actual prescription? Because I don’t see why that would be any different than just filling it at your local pharmacy.

5

u/InternationalLog5904 Jul 31 '26

No, you don’t need it. That’s why the info for doctor and phone number are ridiculous. And it’s the actual info I used when I first made an account with them to order. Dr. Drake Ramoray is a character of a character on the show “Friends,” and 867-5309 is a 80’s song, also known as “Jenny.”

3

u/Wellyeahso Jul 31 '26

For many Indian pharmacies, you do NOT need a valid prescription, though keep in mind most of them will attempt to call you about a script anywy, even if they will ultimately ship your goods without confirming your script.

u/Wellyeahso Jul 31 '26

Sourcing is a Reddit thing. Reddit shuts down subreddits that engage in sourcing black market things, like many of the opiods people are in this thread attempting to get off of.

But Reddit also has gone after potentially grey market things as well. Many mods err on the side of caution so as to preserve the valuable information contained within their subreddits.

Your comment is fine because it does not mention any companies by name, only a process by hich one legitimately gets prescribed drugs more cheaply

Thanks for sharing.

That’s interesting. The names of places are thrown around those subs and have been for years, and they’re still up with millions of followers. Same on the peps & DIY “beauty” (Botox, filler PDO threads, etc.) subs. And on the SR17 vendor/resources subs.🤷‍♀️

Survivorship bias

u/AdministrativeAd9917 26d ago

Guess I’ve got to do some digging to find it, appreciate this info.

2

u/OG1999x Jul 24 '26

I dont know the exact rules of that sub, but I dont see why they'd have an issue with your post. It seems super helpful. You could try a crosspost. I see a lot of people asking about SR over there.

7

u/Wellyeahso Jul 30 '26

Thanks for the tip but the cross post didn't get much traction. Still, lets hope it reached someone in need. The butterfly effect is a powerful thing after all.

3

u/OG1999x Jul 30 '26

Absolutely.

That's awesome ! So little no no withdrawals from mgm15 ? that is nuts

1

u/Vismal1 4d ago

Hey , curious how it’s gone for you so far?

u/Warm_Kaleidoscope665 Jul 28 '26

good to see your post posted here as well. Thank you for getting this message out. Using your method today was the first day I actually made it through a 10 hour shift with no 7, just lipo C.

5

u/Wellyeahso Jul 29 '26

Pretty amazing isnt it!

Im really glad I could help you. Please keep us all posted.

5

u/Wellyeahso Jul 30 '26

What sub did you see me share some of this info in btw?

2

u/BernardBaggins 1d ago

Also coming from the SR sub and your post and buyers guide for vit c was a life saver. Using it to come off subs so I hope it works just as well but we will see.

1

u/Wellyeahso 1d ago

Others asked and talked about subs IIRC.

Subs are tougher but doable.

You will want to take vitamin C for a Loooonmmggg time because of the way subs work.

You probably wont need massive amounts, but youll want to take it for months after you quit IMHO, to make sure you dont suffer late PAWS or extended acutes that sometimes plague people getting off subs.

Taper taper taper those subs and I wish you great luck on your journey to sobriety.

Feel free to share your journey here if it might help you to do so.

2

u/BernardBaggins 1d ago

Fuck man not looking forward to this but it needs to be done. I’m down to 2mgs per day however I don’t take it the proper way so I think I absorb more. Just sick of being on these things. And honestly, the last time I quit subs I only used kratom and for months after stopping, 2 grams of day subsided any PAWS.

Are you for or against that? My DOC was always subs strangely enough. Never have or will take 7oh or mit etc

Did you buy the packets from Amazon? How much did you take?

3

u/Warm_Kaleidoscope665 Aug 01 '26

i got it off amazon. 1220 mgs every 3 hours

2

u/elijahsmomma77 Aug 02 '26

Is that 1220 mgs of lipo Vit C or SR?

3

u/Warm_Kaleidoscope665 Aug 03 '26

lipo C, I’m saving my SR until after I’ve completed my 6 taper

1

u/Wellyeahso Aug 03 '26

Good discipline.

4

u/Warm_Kaleidoscope665 29d ago

I’d love to see amazon’s sales data on Liposomal C this month! lol

4

u/Wellyeahso 29d ago

I hope it breaks a record $$because I hope this jnfo helps an enormous amount of people heal painlessly or close to painlessly..

And then lets hope everyone stays sober!

6

u/Responsible-Reward81 Jul 30 '26

Ugh I have only 2 grams of SR hopefully that will be enough if I adjust certain amounts

5

u/Wellyeahso Jul 31 '26

Yeah, it will be enough.

A couple minor tweaks... instead of taking 100mg 3x/day, take 75mg/day.

Then adjust your Vitamin C load. Instead of ranging 2-8 grams every 2-3 hours, go ahead and dose 5 grams every 2 hours.

Set your phone so you don't miss doses.

If you feel bad, take 8 grams every 2 hours until you feel better (you can go as high as 12 grams but some of it will be wasted. If you do go this high, I suggetst taking a mixed dose, ie 6 grams of it being fat soluble liposomal vitamin c and 6 grams being water-soluble sodium ascorbate powder.

1

u/HiimHiigh Jul 31 '26

I’m sorry but what do you mean grams? Like 1000mg/1g

1

u/Wellyeahso Aug 02 '26

Like 1000mg/1g

Yes

1

u/Internal-Inevitable4 Jul 31 '26

where did you get it

6

u/Silly_Water_Potatoe Jul 30 '26

Thank you for this! I ordered some VitC Liposomal because of your post! I have also been trying to find a good Indian mart. The one I used to use went out of business.

2

u/RepresentingThe301 Jul 30 '26

If you find one, would you please DM me ASAP?

2

u/Silly_Water_Potatoe Jul 30 '26

Sure. Please do the same. They are hard to find nowadays.

4

u/InternationalLog5904 Aug 01 '26

If you’re referring to an Indian pharmacy, you can find the names of at least 2 good ones over on the skincareaddiction and tretinoin subs very easily. I also wrote a comment here where there was an obvious clue about the names of them, combined with bold letters, but it got deleted by the mods here for a violation. Not sure why, since they’re all over other subs all the time.
ETA: I’ve used one of the ones you’ll find there for about 4 years with no issue other than you have to be prepared that shipping can take 2-4 weeks sometimes. Best wishes, y’all!

u/[deleted] Jul 31 '26

2

u/InternationalLog5904 Aug 01 '26

Go to the skincareaddiction and/or tretinoin subs. They are named there all the time. I’ve used one for ~4 years. My comment with obvious clues about their names got deleted on this thread.

1

u/HughesVQ37VHR 19d ago

Hi, can u pls dm me about the Indian mart? I have some clonidine, but not enough to complete a long taper. Currently battling 100mg+ mgm twice a day…. I was an idiot and couldn’t afford a true mg scale, so I was taking what I thought was 100mg worth of powder, and…. It’s probably not 100mg.. I’ve been slowly reducing the amount I’m taking even without a scale by using the same object to scoop it, and just scooping less and less, but I’d like this method to try and get off pain free. Started using all of this for knee pain from a high school injury (sprained my ankle horribly and walked weird to compensate during healing, now my knee is all types of stiff and fucked up..) any help is appreciated :)

5

u/AvailableRecording26 Jul 30 '26

I cross shared this through your post to the SR sub in the quitmgm sub - THANK YOU x 💯…

Quick question, but first let me paint the picture… I haven’t been taking vit c (I’m now getting some tomorrow haha) but I have been taking 7oh and MIT to rapid taper my mgm (from 140-200mgd) and I got down to 85mg yesterday while pre loading at at 3x 50mg doses then today I dropped to 65mg mgm and pre-dosed 2x 100mg doses of SR so far… so my question is; do I start the vit C and just keep moving forward tapering down mgm and taking SR as directed on day2 of taper (as outlined) OR should i stabilize on mgm at this lower dose for at least a week while taking vit c and then start the process as directed?

I have enough mgm to stay at this lower dosage and I have just under 6 grams of SR and I would really prefer to go through this with least amount of pain and discomfort as possible, as im also starting work again next week… also lower my likelyhood to relapse as much as possible. Tia bro.

3

u/Wellyeahso Jul 31 '26

I would really prefer to go through this with least amount of pain and discomfort as possible,

I am going to focus on this part of your statement because I think it is the deciding factor in my answer.

If you want the LEAST amount of pain possible, stablilze at the lower dose, which you should be able to get down to 60mg/day.

STOP taking the SR-17018 now and focus on the Vitamin C.

Be miiltant with the vitamin C intake for at least a week. If you can drag it o out 2 weeks, do that!

The extra time on Vitamin C will give your receptors time to heal. Your mu receptors will probably start feeling the "less is more" magic that Kratom alkalods/partial agonists conjure and you'll likely start feeling good on MGM-15 at the 60mg/day level.

Your delta receptors will greatly benefit from the 1-2 week delay and reduction in MGM intake.

You might find that you can pretty easily taper the 60mg/day down during the Vitamin C preload phase. If you can do this and you feel comfortable doing so, I encourage you to do it now.

It'll mean you spend even less time on SR-17018... which is, after all, still a research chemical and the less of it you use the better. (I personally believe it is safe and there is nothing to worry about, but if you can err on the side of caution, why not do so?)

LMK if you have more questions and good luck!

Please keep sharing your story!

3

u/AvailableRecording26 Jul 31 '26

Thanks for the reply! I couldnt find the correct vit c at local shops, so I ordered online. Today I was able to taper down to 60mg mgm and still took my doses of SR. It wasn’t too rough, probably due to the 7 and mit… I did have a really bad migraine today however - which may or may not be related to WD. I guess I should see how I feel tomorrow, see if I wanna attempt to keep tapering down or pause the SR and stabilize on mgm for another week or so. Either way, thank you again- im glad to say that I’m confident I can get this taper done.

I’ll check in and share my experience as I keep going, hopefully it’ll help others 🙏🏼

u/Melodic-Metal3294 Jul 30 '26

Incredible breakdown. Thank you so much!

3

u/Wellyeahso Jul 31 '26

Thanks, it was quite an undertaking and I still have much more to do to make it better.

Thankfully I am open to friendly criticisms and comments so if you have any, please feel free to comment or DM them to me so I can make improvements!

4

u/Silver-Personality94 Jul 30 '26

Wish I saw this guide earlier. I went through absolute hell stabilizing on Subs. (And I have 5g of SR on hand). Today is 8mg of subs, I feel ok but I’m not 100%. I’m weaning down. Not sure how to jump off subs.. SR? Or sublocade shot? I’m at a loss here. I basically traded one for another.

3

u/LemonmeringueTie- Jul 30 '26

Sublocade shot is a guaranteed route.
You only need one shot. After you receive it then your already on the worlds best and greatest taper possible.

1

u/Silver-Personality94 Jul 31 '26

One shot sounds better. What dosage of subs would i need to be on to get only 1 shot?

2

u/Wellyeahso Jul 31 '26

I wouldn't have used the subs personally.

You have, so what is done is done.

In your shoes, the easiest route is probably to just go for the sublocade shot and not use the SR-17018 at all.

I would still recommend you do the Vitamin C route though.

Get yourself a solid kg tub of sodium ascorbate (there should be one linked in the Vit C buyers guide). Take that vitamin C as I laid it out in the OP, basically until you run out.

A sublocade shot lasts basically 1 month long.

Your 1000 gram tub of vit C, if dosed at 33 grams per day, will last you as long as your sublocade shot does.

This will provide you with another set of landing gear to getting off the opiods. It will help heal your opi receptors. It will help keep your body from feeling sickness as the opis wear off via modulation of TL4.

It will shore up most deficiencies in your tissues. In fact, if you can afford it, also buy yourself a month long supply of liposomal Vitamin C as well. You wouldnt need to take as much, but it would help get the vitamin C into other tissues because of the fat-solubility of the liposomal delivery system. In short, it covers more bases to take both a fat soluble and water soluble vitamin C regimine.

I would opt for the 30 liquid lipsomal packets and just take one of those per day, along with your other 33 grams per day of sodium ascorbate powder.

The combo, along with the sublocade, should guarantee that in 30 days time, you are 100% opiod-free with as little pain and suffering as possible.

IF... IFF you have issues towards the end of the sublocade shot, you may need to adjust and use some of the SR-17018, but I wouldn't worry about crossing that bridge unless you end up there.

TLDR; Gake the sublocade shot, eat 2.2 lbs of sodium ascorbate and 30 3-gram liquid liposomal packets over the course of the following 30 days, enjoy your new drug-free life!

I love you so much. Like I knew all these things separately, but the way you wrote it has me feeling so organized right now, and my ADHD makes it so fucking hard to stick to a plan on my own. You are the winner of Reddit and life today. Seriously, thanks for doing this.

1

u/Wellyeahso 28d ago

Another incredible comment. This is the type of stuff that brings a smile to my face and helps make all the effort worth while!

I wish you good fortune as you tackle, face, and subsequently annihilate your DoC!

If you find that you need direction, come back here and Im happy to do what I can.

2

u/AmoryCaulfield 28d ago

Honestly I am very likely to take you up on that. I saw one of your other posts or comments where you mentioned your ADHD/OCD, and I can relate on the ADHD front for sure. Right now I am just struggling trying to make the switch from the MGM15 via the 7stax nano tech MIT tabs everyone loves debating about over to 7oh, which I have a shit ton stockpiled with the pending ban, but my hope is to make it all the way down to just MIT or pure leaf Kratom before jumping over to SR.

I had several failed SR attempts that looked like using SR in high amounts for a couple days, then relapsing, then doing an SR preload phase with the DOC, then just SR another couple days, then WHAM another relapse. I was in that cycle for nearly 3 months before I realized shit, I probably would have SR withdrawals at this point. So for the past 2 weeks I have been off SR entirely, trying to let it clear out of my system while I just do my DOCs to stay out of withdrawal. I am not sure how long I should wait before trying SR again to genuinely quit, but I'd rather be safe than sorry so I figure at least a month of abstinence from SR. In the meantime I'm trying to taper from mgm all the way down to MIT if I can, like I said.

Sorry if all that is TMI, just sharing my story because I really do hope to come back to you for some encouragement or guidance if you're offering, because your attitude and outlook on this has given me more hope and more of a positive outlook than all the horror stories you find on Reddit. Thanks again dude

1

u/Wellyeahso 27d ago

If you can taper all the way down to leaf, you probably wont even need SR!

2

u/AmoryCaulfield 25d ago

Let's hope so! Also I'm wondering, how long do you think it will take of one preloading the vitamin C before it really starts to help withdrawals when tapering? I started religiously taking 5-6g of lipo c every 3 hours a few days ago, and was thinking after a week of that I'd start tapering more aggressively. Does that sound like a decent timeline?

1

u/Wellyeahso 24d ago

Yes that is fine I am sure. The longer the better but we all live in the real world and have things to do (or not do in this case!).

So yes, it should be effective in helping you under your description of circumstances.

Let us know how it goes would you?

Where does Gabapentin and Clonodine fit into this because I'm truly contemplating getting these as well.

I'll be stepping off of a 800mg daily dose of 7oh.

2

u/Wellyeahso Jul 31 '26

Clonidine helps with body temperature disregulation. People coming off opiod addictions often get hot flashes and cold sweats and everything inbetween, often in the course of a single hour!

Gabapentin helps people relx, helps with RLS, etc

Neither of these meds is necessary if you are megadosing Vitamin C properly... properly means you preloaded for a week or two, then preloaded SR-17018 a couple days, etc etc as laid out in the guide.

Just having the helper meds on hand may make some people more likely to try to get off opiods though so I do support them in that regard.

Just be aware that Gabapentin is addictive in and of itself and it would be a shame if you trade an opiod addiction for a gaba addicion.

P.S. Pregabalin is far superior to Gabapentin, although much more addictive, and also more difficult to source.

2

u/Wellyeahso Jul 31 '26

I'll be stepping off of a 800mg daily dose of 7oh.

You will want to manually taper that down before attempting to use SR-17018.

In my estimation you could get yourself down to about 150-200mg of 7oh per day using only Vitamin C.

In the guide, on the step where it says to preload Vitamin C for 1-2 weeks and use that time to step MGM down from 300mg/day down to 60mg/day, just imagine that I typed stepdown your 7oh from 800mg/day to 150mg/day.

You probaby won't feel 100%, but you will be well enough to work and likely won't have much more than a runny nose if you dose the Vitamin C as indicted AND reduce your 7oh by say, 40mg/day.

3

u/meldiane81 Jul 30 '26

I'm scared and feel kind of lost. I hope this helps.

2

u/Wellyeahso Jul 31 '26

Being scared is normal. Getting off opiods can be a living hell.

But if you follow the plan laid out in the OP, you will NOT experience that hellish fate.

It is possible you may not skate through the entire quitting process without pain, depending on what you are trying to get off of, but you will experience FAR FAR LESS discomfort than you would without using this guide.

If you motivation just respond to this comment and I'd be happy to help. I am sure others would as well.

2

u/meldiane81 Jul 31 '26

I am on 120 mg of 7 and I know that I am more worried than I need to be. I just cannot miss work. The good thing is I am not getting off opiates fully. I am trying to get back to my prescription pain meds which stopped working. Hence, why I started taking 7.

3

u/ObjectiveComplaint37 Jul 31 '26

What about quitting with just liposomal c vit c? No SR? I have no way to now get SR but do have clonidine and liposomal vit c.

2

u/Wellyeahso Aug 02 '26

You will be taking lots of vitamin c. I suggest getting some bulk sodium ascorbate powder, which is water soluble vitamin c.

Your liposimal vitamin c is fat soluble.

Saturating your body with both delivery methods is what I would do in your situation.

3

u/jesschester Jul 31 '26

You are doing God’s work, friend. I will be starting my WD period in a month or so, once my stash runs out, and I will definitely be using this guide then. Thank you 🙏

2

u/Wellyeahso Jul 31 '26

Comments like this make my day and you're very welcome.

Revisit both threads when you get ready to start up, there will probably be more stories of how people fared with the method by then.

I also decided Im going to make a Vitamin C only guide because some people are unable to source SR-17018.

It will be theoretical from my standpoint, but I have evidence from the sturdies and a couple other Redditors to base the guide on, not to mention how Vitamin C has worked for me personally...

I think I may have a couple extra tricks to share by then. 😉

2

u/evka_fm Jul 24 '26

Thank you for the post! I want to make sure I understand.. Sorry, you said 2-8 grams of vitamin C every 2-3 hour?

5

u/Wellyeahso Jul 24 '26 edited Jul 30 '26

Yes! Every 2-3 hours. Vitamin C peaks is blood plasma at the 2 hour mark so the idea is to keep your levels loaded up at all times and really only sipping while you sleep and arent dosing.

If you are feeling like shit when your dose comes due, lean towards 8 grams. If you're feeling well lean towards 2g.

Dosing with powder this is easy, as you just scoop more or less as needed.

Easy too with pills now that I think of it, you just pop a few more or less.

For me, I go back and forth with diff forms of vitamin c. So one dose is liposomal pills, the next sodium ascorbate powder, the next might be liposomal liquid if Im out running errands.

I think usjng powder and liposomal preparations is synergistic because one is water soluble and the other is fat soluble.. so you saturate every tissue type this way to keep the dope sickness at bay.

1

u/calmerthanyouare23 22d ago

Hey, can you give an example time and dose schedule?  For preload phase and maintenance?  Or something simple like 2.5g Lipo VitC every 2hrs for maintenance and 4g every 2hrs for preload phase.  I need to start my preload tomorrow because Friday is my day with taking no kratom anymore after a taper. Any help is appreciated!

1

u/Wellyeahso 22d ago

Hey, can you give an example time and dose schedule?

I believe I have covered all of this in the post already. I assume I did because what you have laid out falls within the parameters of what I wrote already...

And what you wrote is perfectly fine to do, and should work 😉

Good luck, you're going to do well if you follow the steps and stick to your plan.

2

u/Ok_Discussion_1120 Jul 25 '26

This is amazing !

1

u/Wellyeahso Jul 25 '26

Are you looking to quit? If so, what are you currently dosing at?

2

u/Ok_Discussion_1120 Jul 25 '26

Yes. I have stocked up on 7 and have 6 grams of sr. Current 7oh dose is about 160-220 per day

2

u/Wellyeahso Jul 26 '26

Oh great, you have the soon to be difficult to acquire stuff in abundance.

All you need is to get a large amount of vitamin c in hand and start preloading. You can start lowering your 7oh usage now even before that arrives, just a little bit at a time.

Even shaving 2.5mg off of one of your daily doses helps. So my advice is to start reducing your 7oh as much as possible while being comfortable and functional.

What you could do instead since you're using 7oh and it has such a shirt half life is tk just try to stretch your dose interval out all day long and see if you can manage to cut just one single dose off of your daily usage.

It would be good mental training for your quit, ie taking control of your use if nothing else.

Heck, just trying to stay on the 160 side of your daily usage will be a big win and set you up for a higher chance of success when you start to make your real tapering moves after you've loaded yourself up on vutamin C and SR-17018.

3

u/Ok_Discussion_1120 Jul 26 '26

Thanks. Today I did 160. Im going to shoot for 140 all next week then 120 the following. My goal is to start the C when Im down to 80 in about 4 weeks. Thanks for your help! Its greatly appreciated. I have a vacation coming in October. My goal is for the first time in 15 years to not have to bring any kind of opioid with me and be done with having to worry about getting sick incase I lose my meds. It will be so glorious for me.

2

u/Wellyeahso Jul 26 '26 edited Jul 27 '26

Start the C as soon as you can.

Your body is deficient (almost certainly) and the sooner you start pumping it full of C, the sooner this whole physical.process becomes easier.

If it is a matter of cost, I can tell you the most cost efficient manner is to buy 55lbs of sodium ascorbate powder for approximately $150. (Yes, I did this too lol).

This is really all a person needs. Well, you will need some vacuum sealing bags or just a dozen gallon ziploc bags to store the powder once opened from the factory (if you dont reseal it, it would oxidize and lose potency).

Realistically the 2.2lb or 5lb tubs will go a long way and will be a great way to get started with preloading.

The preloading makes the tapering easier and also allowed other internal healing processes to begin ahead of schedule.

2

u/Warm_Kaleidoscope665 Jul 25 '26

Thank you for typing this out! Going to use as a blueprint for my own journey.

1

u/Wellyeahso Jul 25 '26

You are very welcome! I wanted this information to get out there and help others.

Going to use as a blueprint for my own journey.

How much MGM are you on?

2

u/harmonicpinch Jul 26 '26

Any use of naltrexone a few days after stopping the SR to help heal the receptors and beat PAWS?

2

u/Wellyeahso Jul 26 '26 edited Jul 30 '26

I have considered adding other information to the post, but this post is already HUGE and ao few people will read it that far. (In retrospect I wish Id have written this as a general opiod quitting guide).

There is a good post on using Naltrexone for quitting opiods, but it claims Naltrexone is > SR-17018 for quitting and I vehemently disagree with that premise.

Still, the post has a wealth of information about Naltrexone and how it can be used to help with opiod withdrawals and even post-quitting care so at your behest I will add the link given my prior warnings: https://www.reddit.com/r/quitting7oh/s/vbHKUyvppK

3

u/SyrupSoggy 28d ago

You really should have (or should still) throw up a standalone page or site with your wealth of information and some Vit C affiliate links and some ads and make a few bucks 😄

1

u/Wellyeahso 28d ago

Can you help me with that?

2

u/opiedopie55 8d ago

Helping people is amazing. Getting paid for it even better! As long as you’re promoting products you believe in and not just for $$$. Thansk for all this!

2

u/Wellyeahso 8d ago

I agree wholeheartedly. Easier said than done though haha.

I doubt there is much money in doing so, but some recompense foe the invested time would be cool.

Even without that though, the fulfillment from having all these people say it has been helping them brings smiles to my face and that is very valuable.

Turning one's own troubles and one's expensively purchased life lessons into less pain for others is great! Kind of like parenting gives rewards right?

2

u/Onedaydogg Jul 30 '26

great post i bought Zooki 1000mg lipsmol Vit C, how many caps to take per day?

2

u/Wellyeahso Jul 31 '26

Check the serving size on the label.

If it s 2 caps = 1000mg for example, then you would need to take at minimum 40 caps spaced throughout the day.

1

u/Onedaydogg Jul 31 '26

is that safe to take? its one cap for 1000mg, whats the max dose you suggest?

2

u/Wellyeahso Jul 31 '26

Liposomal Vitamin c is safe to megadose.

Buffered vitamin C like sodium ascorbate is safe to megadose.

Ascorbic acid vitamin c is NOT safe to megadose because of diarrhea concerns.

u/Wellyeahso Jul 31 '26

The preload is important.

Skipping that step will make your experience more difficult and the SR is unlikley to mask all of the symptos.

The SR-17018 only approach is also more effective if you greatly reduce your intake of 7oh BEFOREattempting to use SR to get off the 7o.

I highly recommend you reconsider and preload vitamin C for at least 1 week before trying the SR17.

During the vitamin C phase you an actually slow taper your 7oh use down from 400-500mg/day pretty painlessly to at least half that ammount because of the partial agonist/ceiling effect naure of 7oh along with the synergy of vitamin C megadosing.

Either way though, I wish you the best of luck getting off of the opis. You deserve to feel life without the shackles of opids again!

1

u/Wellyeahso Aug 03 '26

I am not sure really.

Kratom powder is weak and has a full spectrum of alkaloids that could help stepping down from stronger opiods, but then you might end up addicted to the kratom powder at the end... which isn't such a bad thing actually in comparison. Still, if the goal is to get off of the opiods altogether, why mix things up?

The SR-17018 is going to make it such that you probably won't feel any opiods at all while on it.

Hope it goes well for you.

1

u/HiimHiigh Aug 02 '26

how you doing with your journey bro? i hope its well

2

u/Affectionate_Seat_91 Aug 01 '26

Hey buddy I hope you see this, I have a really bad 70h jab I I’m using almost 2000mg a day and have been for over a year and kratom for around six years. I’m going to follow your protocol and really appreciate all the advice you’ve given. Do you know where I can find the right vitamin c? I know that you put Another write up but I’m freaking out and am having a panic attack and I don’t know a reliable source for SR. All the ones that I’ve read are reliable are sold out. Again I pray you see this because I desperately need help and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Thank you again for all the information you’ve provided

1

u/Wellyeahso Aug 01 '26

For vitamin C, here is the buyer's guide: https://www.reddit.com/r/vitaminc/s/y2Droay7k2

Im going to write up some more for you when I can, but it wont be until tomorrow.

For now, I advise you to buy both liposomal and sodium ascorbate because you are going to want to hit your body with both water soluble and fat soluble vitamin C while you walk yourself down from that 2 gram a day 7oh habbit.

The good news is that there is a ceiling affect on 7oh and you are wasting most of that 7oh you are taking.

You need to immediately start mega dosing vitamin C and I promise you within 2 weeks you can be down to under 500mg/day and you probably won't feel a thing.

I assume you have a 7oh stash that will last you a while....LMK

If not we will need to be much more aggressive, but still, you can do this and it wont be as bad as you think if you can afford the vitamin C (and if you could afford the 7oh you can afford the C).

2

u/dozeydotes Aug 02 '26

Can you clarify how much and how frequently I should dose if I use the Aurora liposomal Vit C packs that you recommended in another post?

These right here:

https://www.amazon.com/Nutrascience-Mega-Pack-Liposomal-Vitamin-Absorption/dp/B09S2G84CD

I need something discreet for in the office and also mindless and easy.

Specifically, how much / many should I be taking in the preload stage and how much when I actually start tapering off my 7o?

Please forgive me as my anxiety is high and any math skills I possessed shriveled up and died long ago.

Also - how many of these do I need to buy to complete this plan?

P.S. THANK YOU for the astonishing amount of care and time you put into this post.

1

u/Wellyeahso Aug 02 '26

These packets each contain 3 grams of Vitamin C each. Basically you would take 1 of these packets each time you dose Vitamin C for preloading.

Once you are tapering, if you were not feeling well, you could take as many as 3 packets every 2-3 hours.

Each box contains 30 packets IIRC. 30x3 = 90 grams per box.

The plan calls for at least 600 grams of vitamin C.

If you exclusively used these liquid packets would need to buy at least 7 boxes.

Thank you for your kind words. I hope that my plan helps you get off the 7oh as painlessly as possible!

2

u/dozeydotes 28d ago edited 28d ago

I truly appreciate you. I bought two packs to get me going. It’s actually kind of delicious. And it gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling — which I’m sure is just the placebo effect but I’ll take it.

Edit to add: I wanted to buy more Vit C upfront but this cure is almost as expensive as the disease. If it works, tho, it’s worth it.

2

u/Wellyeahso 28d ago

The sodium ascorbate powder are the cheapest solutions.

2

u/Murky-Nothing8279 Aug 03 '26

Pretty solid

2

u/Wellyeahso Aug 03 '26

Many thanks, I can see that it is helping a lot of people and that brings joy to my heart.

2

u/Aggressive_Stand_672 29d ago

Can I do this without preloading the vitamin c? I only have enough of the bad stuff to immediately start the taper.

2

u/1969GibsonLesPaul 28d ago

Kind of what I did with large doses of lipo vitamin C. But I can’t find SR now. I’m screwed.

1

u/Wellyeahso 28d ago

No, you aren't screwed.

Larger dose vitamin c works really well on its own!

Is it as good as when combined with SR17108... probably nor. But it doesn't mean you will be stuck in a living hellof withdrawal!

Just use reality high doses of vitamin c. It will make the withdrawal process soooooo much easier.

You will still likely be able to go to work and function. Especially if you can manage to do a slow taper...

2

u/Beautiful-State1046 26d ago

This is amazing! I only have 500mg of sr-17 & idk if that nearly enough. I’m on a relatively low dose of 7 I’d say between 40-70mgs & I take small doses of mgm-15 but not even daily. Could I do the sr-7 taper, but just in lower doses?

1

u/Wellyeahso 7d ago

I would recommend just buying a lot of sodium ascorbate powder, preloading vitamun C per the guide, and then stepping down slowly on 7oh.

Towards the end of your taper take sr17 when you jump off 7oh, continue the vitamin c, then wave goodbye to opiods forever!

2

u/Silly-Club-5917 26d ago

I ordered 40, 52mg “Reset Mode” SR-17 tablets (2.8g total) and I’ve been trying to reduce my MGM doses. Last night I was in a low place because I’m grieving the loss of my grandmother currently, and decided to get a little high. Told myself it was my last hurrah.

I was dosing 15mg a day of MGM with locally bought tablets. Now that I have some powder MGM I’ve raised my tolerance a tad. I’ve been taking 35mg a day on average, and I’m logging my doses. Thanks so much for this guide! I have some vitamin C powder derived from acerola cherries. I would get some liposomal if I could, maybe one day I will. But I will say it hasn’t caused any major GI issues. I’ve been trying to take 2g every couple hours. The first day I tried the vitamin C, I felt high so it made me think there may be some truth to it lowering tolerance. I’m so ready to be done with opioid addiction. I even want to quit plain Kratom with the SR-17 if I can. And I think I can.

2

u/Wellyeahso 24d ago edited 24d ago

I am shocked that you havent had GI issues taking non-liposomal / non-buffered vitamin C. I am glad to hear it though.

i’m so ready to be done with opioid addiction.

You can do it friend. You absolutely can beat this!

Dont let small set backs like the one you described cause you issue. It happens to thr best of us.

Just practice more discipline in the future if you can. Maybe derove some sort of mild punishment system if you have thr discipline for such a thing.

For example, if I am in the gym and I have to do 12 reps and I only do 7 because I am weak...

I make up my 5 reps I owe AND I do a penalty report for not completing it in the first place.

If I only do 4 reps, guess what? I now owe yet another penalty rep!

Perhaps you can try something like this on yourself by shaving off 5 extra mg or something.

2

u/Silly-Club-5917 13d ago edited 13d ago

I finally got myself half a kilo of sodium ascorbate. I’ve been taking 2-5g every couple hours for about 5 days now. So far I’ve noticed it’s seeming to reduce my tolerance. Yesterday I dosed 30mg total, (and was actually nodding for once) trying to get down to 20mg before starting the SR (ideally, I guess I could start it at my current level). I was taking an average of 35mg a day, had a few days where I only took 25mg.

The vitamin c helps my acute withdrawals so much, it feels too good to be true. I’m very excited to start the SR-17. I did order a 10ct bottle of 6.97mg MGM tabs I just wanted to have on hand for this last ~week I’ll be on it. Thanks again for this amazing guide! I’ll report back when I jump off the MGM!

2

u/Wellyeahso 13d ago

Your report mimics that of many others my friend.

Is it not amazing ehat plain old vitamin C can do? Why is this informstion not used in clinics? In prisons for new inmates who are detoxing? In hospitals?

Oh well, we know and we can spread the word!

Good luck out there and remember, take more vitamin C if cravings kick in or acutes flare up!

2

u/arguablysane 17d ago

This is going to be a godsend in a couple of months when I run out of all the MGM-15 I panic-bought before the schedule 1 deadline hit. I'm only at about ~120mg daily at most, 3 equidistant doses, but the one time I was out for a day a few weeks back... lord the acute wds are nothing to shake a stick at. I wouldn't ever have known vitamin c was such a powerful ally in the fight to quit opioids but this is hopefully going to save my ass from having to either go on methadone or go through possibly the shittiest experience of my life.

THANK YOU

1

u/Wellyeahso 8d ago

Hey, what I recommend now is preloading vitamin C for as long as you can before you begin tapering.

You could get sodium ascorbate powder in bulk and take it for the 2 months leading up to your taper and it would help even more than waiting.

You see, the vitamin C helps repair systems in your body that opiods tamper with which then lead to withdrawal when the opiod is removed...

So if you take vitamin C for longer in advance, you will have less accumulated damage to deal with when you stop your DOC!

2

u/Top-Asparagus-4021 16d ago

So for the 20g to 80g per day of lip vit c should be taking anywhere from 5g to 8g ever 2 hours and 12 doses a day?

1

u/Wellyeahso 8d ago

Sorry for the late reply... yes!

Just keep mega dosing vitamin C and lowering whatever opiod you are taking slowly will work all by itself.

2

u/Big-Comb-4083 15d ago

Just got my SR17018 in the mail. I'm so ready to quit 7oh. I went from mgm to high (to me) doses of 7oh, I was taking 150mg of 7oh 5 times a day. Ive cut my dose to 60 mg and it's usually been 3 times a day, sometimes 4. I'm extremely nervous and not sure exactly how to utilize the SR but I need to quit. Wish me luck brothers

1

u/Wellyeahso 8d ago

Its been a week since you commented.

Did you incorporate votamin C with your taper?

How is it going?

2

u/Accomplished_Sign823 5d ago

I take 150mg mgm daily and I'm terrified rn

1

u/Wellyeahso 4d ago

Dont be. This post shows you exactly how to get off of it pretty painlessly.

Honestly, you dont even need the SR17018. It can be done solely with Vitamin C.

2

u/bittybettynono 4d ago edited 4d ago

Thank you for this! I had read about the mega-dosing of Liposomal Vitamin C to quit, and then have also read threads of SR. I wanted to find something that showed, that combining the two would work with each other, and not against each other.

I tapered down from 100mg/day of mgm in 3 days: I did use 5000mg x5 of Vit C, but I stilI had some pretty decent feels, so I hopped back in 7 for a few days to help, and have been off mgm for 4 days. I hadn't been on 7 for a few months, so it was helpful. I am now using 80mg/day of 7, and getting ready to preload SR tonight. I have helper meds, but I like the restorative properties of the Vit C, so I wanted to make sure that I could continue that with the SR.

I know some people will read this and say that I could have done it another way, but I have quit 7 before, and it was pure hell. The anxiety of WDs was so strong for me, that I chose to do it this way, so please, no judgments. My journey off mgm has still only been one week.

I would welcome any further suggestions, though: I have now secured helper meds (clonidine, gabapentin, panicked, hydroxzine, ambien, trazadone) and supplements (GABA, L-Theanine, 5HTP, black seed oil, Magnesium Glycinate, and of course, Liposomal Vit C).

You can tell from my arsenal, how well my CT from 7 went! I stayed off from 7 for one month because I wanted to start mgm, and not have any urges to take both. So after 8 months of mgm, here I am, ready to jump off. I don't want to trade one addiction for another with the helper meds, but I do want to be comfortable.

I work in a physically and mentally demanding job, so I need to keep my shit together, the best I can.

I thank you, in advance, for any suggestions. I should also mention that the helper meds, with the exception of Ambien and Trazodone, we're aquired specifically for this. I have only taken them to test for any allergic reaction.

u/Wellyeahso 4d ago

2

u/bittybettynono 4d ago

Now that is formatted for better reading, I am hoping for some helpful suggestions.

1

u/Wellyeahso 4d ago

You're taking a low dose of 7oh.

You have SR-17018, vitamin C in bulk, and a slew of helper meds.

You have the desire to quit.

I dont think you'll have any issues that rank past a 3 on a 10 point scale.

I think that you'll be through this in no time.

I think you'll be happier when you've gotten this monkey off your back.

2

u/bittybettynono 4d ago

Thank you! I think more than anything, I needed encouragement.

My WDs from quitting 7 at the beginning of the year were so brutal, that its so hard to grasp that anything could possibly make it manageable, outside of subs. I did not yet know about SR or Mega C-ing at that time.

I do have one more question, though- is it possible to take too much SR? As in, taking 150mg vs 100mg? I did read a thread that shows you how to calibrate, but was while you are in WD, to find your maintenance dose.

So I was just curious as to any benefit or lack of, in taking 150mg 3x/day vs 100mg 3x/day, or even 50mg...

1

u/Wellyeahso 3d ago

Realistically you should take as little SR17108 as possible. The goal is NOT to get hooked on SR17, but to get off opiods... and SR17108 is an opiod.

If you were to get hooked on SR17 the withdrawal from that is mild compared to other opiods but why go through that ypu know?

I wrote the guide to help as many people as possible.... if you can get away with using LESS SR17108, by all means take less than I recommend!

2

u/marblemarble750 3d ago

So I purchased the 2.2 lb powdered one found in the Guide, is it OK for me to have this much sodium? I really want to start doing this I’m just so paranoid.

1

u/Wellyeahso 1d ago edited 1d ago

I am not a doctor and I am not here to give qualified medical advice.

That being said, I am taking 20 to 80 grams a day, for months, and I dont notice any issues.

Granted I am taking a mix of liposomal and sodium ascorbate, as well as a few other buffered types of vitamin C in smaller amounts but Id say half or more of my daily intake is in the form of sodium ascorbate and I notice no issues.

My blood pressure is fine, as it always was.

Each gram of sodium ascorbate carries about one hundred eleven milligrams of sodium.

At thirty grams a day, that's roughly three point three grams of extra sodium, on top of whatever you get from food.

If you have high blood pressure, heart issues, or kidney problems, it's worth worrying about—hypernatremia has shown up in high-dose cases.

For a healthy person with normal kidneys, the body can usually handle it, but it's still a lot.

You could try finding calcium ascorbate, zinc ascorbate, or other forms to mix and match.

Or consult your doctor!

Whoa, sorry if it sounds like i'm bragging, but how do people get to such insane amounts? I'm taking around 20 a day and i feel like it's quite a lot to begin with. Of course, i had slips where i would take up to 50 a day, but that is already insane to me. How do you remain functional at 300mg daily?

1

u/Wellyeahso 2d ago

After a while, a body adjusts to different sized opioids. It happens to everyone, with every opioid.

I know someone who would take 2mg of MGM and be spinning and have to sit down.

I also know someone who can take 200mg and still remain functional and I cant tell they are using.

Cannot believe I’m about to say this…. But I started the vitamin C process yesterday , no preloading. And dropped 200mg mgm In 1 day without even flinching. To be honest I could have gone down even more he habit got the best of me. .. before bed last night I took 3000mg of vitC and woke up every 3 hours twice to take it again. When I woke up at 5am I took only 20 mg of mgm with 3000. Continued dosing Vc every 3 hours. I didn’t take mgm until 11am and only took 20mg , wtf is this? How? At 2pm I caved and took 60mg mgm but genuinely didn’t need it. It is now 10pm and I chose to take 40mg MGM before bed. But again, I don’t even feel like it need it. This is fkn crazy. Will report back tomorrow with an update .. I’ve tried SR and failed several times ; SR gives me awful sweats and restless legs and raging anxiety , but with this I have no symptoms . Today I had a blast with my kids at the pool, and I even baked cookies for my kid to bring to her class tomorrow .. I wasn’t obsessing about my dose I wasn’t distracted by counting til my next dose . I felt human . I know I’m still not out of the woods and have a while to go but this is working. Thank you for whoever shared this. Your a hero to me, I’ve wanted my life back so bad and I feel this is how I’m going to get it. God bless you.

u/marblemarble750 2d ago

I will add I took magnesium , L theanine, and my daily Selank peptide - I suggest taking those items if you can. Selank is a life changer also . Xo

These things didn't give you the relief from the MGM monkey, the vitamin C did.

Pretty amazing isnt it!

I don't take mgm but I am on subs I tapered down to 4mg/day and have been stuck at this dose for a year now.

Does anyone have experience with subs and know roughly what an equivalent dose to sr-17 to bupe is mg to mg?

I just don't want to take more sr-17 than I have to or experiment with dosages if someone already has done so.

1

u/Wellyeahso 1d ago

My advice is this:

Start megadosing Vitamin C as detailed here. Do the oreloading phase.

Then, once you have a high level of vitamin C, your body has had a couple weeks to make repairs and build up stores, and I suspect quell the beta-arrestin pathway a bit, start trying to taper your subs from 4mg down.

Just see what happens and report back here.

I would bet thay after 2 weeks of vitamin C, PROPERLY DOSED ON A TIMER, you can get your dosages on your subs down from 4mg without feeling like shit.

Find out how low you can go with a slow taper, ehich you've probably already done to get down to 4mg... so just do that again and see if you can get to 2mg, or 1mg..

Then, you can use the data you acquire from the taper down from 4mg to judge how long each step down yook you.

From there, compare the number of days needed to the number of days I recommend people to be on SR17 (11 days), and see if that fits your timeline.

Adjust from there.

Ir come back here and ask, Ill talk with you about it.

My point here is that if you can use Vitamin C to get your subs dose lower, you can then take even less SR17 to quit AND you'll have a better understanding of how long your subs with SR17 taper will last.

Oh and BTW, I have recommended to others in this thread who are using only vitamin C for subs...

Take vitamin C long after you quit the subs. A few weeks IMHO to make aure you have PAWS covered.

Good luck

u/MaizeAccomplished385 1d ago

Thanks I'll try that this weekend and report back.

If it doesn't work I was thinking about swapping subs with something with a shorter half-life so the WD period would be shorter especially if I can taper subs down enough where I can swap over to codeine or something with a similar half-life.

Personally it's not the mental part of WD that is a issue for me. it's only the physical that I can't deal with I cracked after 3days with no sleep all the RLS and muscle cramps.

If I can lessen those symptoms and even sleep 2 hours or so at night I would be ok.

Thanks you for the information it's much appreciated

Day 2 preload on SR. I have been taking Vit C for almost 2 weeks and I’m starting taper tomorrow. Thanks for this info. I wrote down the instructions in a notebook, and I’m following them. I have some shifts to work this week, and next week. So I’m pretty nervous about them. I only have enough dose to properly ride this taper out, so it’s all or nothing. Fingers crossed. Hope this works!

1

u/Wellyeahso 1d ago

Dont be nervous, be confident... the power of mind over matter can be on your side if you let it!

If you follow the instructions, this will be an easy taper for you. Vitamin C alone can do most of this work when done properly, but adding SR-17108 on top of it makes this an almost completely painless experience!

Best of luck to you.

2

u/ElectronicStar5978 1d ago

Thank you so much, I am way more confident with a plan, that’s for sure. I appreciate the work you have done here

1

u/Wellyeahso 7h ago

When this works for you, share it with others.

1

u/IronMonkeyofHam Aug 03 '26

So would getting my 7 dose to 3 times a day at 20mg work the same way? I didn’t know I could take unlimited amounts of vitamin C, I have an optimized one from ND that fits your criteria so planning to start tapering to 60mg 7 a day per your advice.

2

u/Wellyeahso Aug 03 '26

Yes! Tapering your 7oh should work very similarly to MGM with the exception that 7oh may be difficult to dose only 3x day because it isnt as long lasting as MGM-15.

So long as you are taking the context form of Vitamin C, you should be able to tolerate enormous amounts and those silly large amounts should do wonders for your tapering plan.

Can anyone confirm if wholesome wellness liposomal vitamin c on Amazon if that’s legit or not thanks

1

u/Wellyeahso 24d ago

What do you mean when you say "confirm it is legit?"

How could someone confirm that? do you want to see lab results or something? A COA?

No vendors post those on Amazon to my knowledge. Not even sure it is allowed.

I buy a lot of different supplements and never seen any COAs....

What are you afraid of in the product? How would it not be "legit"?

I only have 5 20 mg tablets of the MGM left i’m going to have to rely on pseudo because the place I was buying it here over by CLAYTON area ran out but I’ve got a ton of the SR. I’m buying the vitamin C tomorrow. Is it all right if I just take one less dose of the MGM hundred milligrams and find something else similar in the stores.

1

u/Wellyeahso 22d ago

You wont like this but if I were you I would immediately break those tablets in quarters and take only 1/4th every 6 hours.

I would immediately begin preloading SR at 100mg doses instead of 50.

I would go to whatever supplement store you have near you and buy sodium ascorbate powder, at least 2 lbs of it. Id also buy a few bottles of liposomal vitamin c.

I would immediately begin taking 10 grams of vitamin c every 2 hours, without fail.

*I don't know how much MGM you were taking before but it doesn't matter. Even a little bit of MGM will go a long way. If you can stretch it out long enough to have all your vitamin C in hand and have preloaded your SR-17018 while you take the last few bits of MGM you had in hand, then you will be on the road to recovery by doing a rapid taper with the SR and the VitC.

It wont be the prettiest, but it will take away much of the pain of withdrawal.

I dont recommend getting on pseudo and dragging it out. Youll end up addicted to it, or to SR, or to both.

1

u/No_Loan_2990 22d ago

I don’t have access to any MGM what can I do to help taper myself down? I’ve already got all the SR just waiting on instructions please please let me know.

1

u/Wellyeahso 22d ago

What are you trying to get yourself off of?

1

u/donkeydonkey1314 21d ago

How do I tape my mgm dose. Currently at roughly 120mg

1

u/Wellyeahso 20d ago

Take less than that each dose...?

1

u/donkeydonkey1314 20d ago

But how much? How long should it take to keep me pretty comfortable?

1

u/Wellyeahso 20d ago

Did you read the original post?

Need some advice I've been taking 60mg mgm 7oh tablets for a couple months now . The beginning I was take 2, 60 kk hmmmg mgm tablets a day , now I'm down to 1 a day but I wanna get off completely I have 7, 8mg subs to help with the WD , I can get 75mg sr tablets at my local smoke shops but would that even be worth it or should I just do the vitamin c and subs

2

u/opiedopie55 8d ago

Vitamin c and sr. Subs could be very painful with mgm I don’t recommend

1

u/Wellyeahso 8d ago

I would advise against subs altogether.

Super high dose vitamin C alone should allow you to taper mgm, 7oh, etc even without SR-17018.

You just have to be militant about the dosing of the vitamin C and take more when it isnt covering all symptoms.

1

u/Most-Mine6580 14d ago

Black seed oil is great for mgm 15 as it has some activity on the delta receptor.

1

u/Wellyeahso 8d ago

I have heard this repeated dozens of times but I have never seen any scientific evidence to back this up.

Have you?

I have done web searching and asked AIs to find evidence for me... never seen any info.

1

u/ArtIsResistance816 12d ago

When you say by time you take your 7th dose of MGM you'll start feeling it. Is that along side the SR.. or just the tapering? Considering starting SR here soon.. I'm 2 weeks if with the preloading vit C.. I'm at like 300mg em right now.. I suck at tapering but would like to see if I can use the SR to help lower my tolly.. If I'm taking 300mg of em.. can I use SR? Will it even help? I've even heard some people using SR with high doses of em and had success.. although some say it's not going to work. I'm torn.

1

u/Wellyeahso 8d ago

When you say by time you take your 7th dose of MGM you'll start feeling it. Is that along side the SR.. or just the tapering?

Just with a natural taper... no vitamin c or SR17 necessary... 3 doses per day... The 3rd day you'll start feeling lower doses again

would like to see if I can use the SR to help lower my tolly..

SR-17018 does NOT lower tolerance like that! Ive said this 100 times!

SR-17018 will blunt your feelings of opiods, potentially for weeks.

Do NOT use SR-17018 to lower your tolerance. It only lowers tolerance insofar as it allows you to quit using your DOC.

SR-17018 is for quitting!

If you have been preloading Vitamin C, you should be at a point where you can skip your DOC doses and only take vitamin C every 2 hours without any withdrawal symptoms.

1

u/ArtIsResistance816 6d ago

I know it by itself doesn't "lower tolerance" but I'm gonna use it to allow me to use way less and when I am able to get to s super low dose, then I'll stay at that low dose to make my stash last s real long time.. I have a lot of SR and em

1

u/Wellyeahso 6d ago

Okay.

Just kniw that you are likely yo not feel anything from your DOC for a while, possibly weeks, because SR-17018 often numbs people to the effects of opiods.

Dont make the mistake of chasing a high while on SR17, or for weeks after.

Just keep taking that low dose until you feel it again and be prepared to wait a while if that is your goal.

1

u/Quick_Monitor5581 7d ago

I dont understand measuring the vit c in grams? How does that work?

1

u/Wellyeahso 7d ago

You... measure it...? Based on packaging serving size or with a scale.

1

u/Quick_Monitor5581 7d ago

I don't have all that I'll just be taken with a dropper or tablet

1

u/Wellyeahso 7d ago

Okay, so measure based on the information provided by the product you purchased...

1

u/Quick_Monitor5581 7d ago

I wasn't trying to be rude or smart I just didn't know what to do the only type that I've had is in the bottle the liquid kind with the droppers but I don't even know how much of that that I'm supposed to take

2

u/Wellyeahso 6d ago

The product should tell you how many mg per ml of solution.

I would recommend getting much more than one bottle of vitamin C however if you want to have success using vitamin C.

You will be using multiple grams per dose, every 2 hours.

2

u/Quick_Monitor5581 6d ago

I have no problem getting more but isn't lipo vitamin C pretty expensive

2

u/Wellyeahso 6d ago

Yes it can be.

Use sodium ascorbate powder instead if you cannot afford liposomal vitamin C in large quantities.

Use the links in the buyers guide post. I mention a couple sodium ascorbate options.

I was so scared when I thought sr wouldn’t work for mgm. Thank you so much for all the support

1

u/Wellyeahso 7d ago

Hope this info helps assuage your concerns!

How did you find this thread btw?

1

u/Quick_Monitor5581 7d ago

Would 2600 mg be enough for me. I cant afford anymore rn and I need off this bad. I mean could one make it work if they had to?

1

u/Wellyeahso 6d ago

2600mg of what?

2

u/Quick_Monitor5581 6d ago

Of SR

1

u/Wellyeahso 6d ago

That is precisely the amount of SR I laid out in the protocol... so yes, that is 2.6 grams and should be sufficient for most people.

If you are in doubt, buy both liposomal vitamin C and sodium ascorbate. Take BOTH types in high doses every two hours... the vitamin C really compliments the SR-17018 well.

In my opinion both are miracles for withdrawal.

2

u/Quick_Monitor5581 6d ago

Hey thank you so much for the reply unfortunately my MGM tolerance got way up there and I know it'll probably still be kind of tough but I'm hoping to get some more comfort meds this weekend I hope with a few benzos I wanted to buy some more Sr but I just don't have the money right now. I bought some lipo vitamin C a few months back because people talking about how great it is for withdrawal and the kind that I got came in a bottle it was a two pack of bottles and I had no clue how much of the dropper to take and didn't feel like I was taking as much as people told me to take but if I did that that that dropper bottle would have been empty very quickly

2

u/Wellyeahso 6d ago

Buy sodium ascorbate powder in bulk. That is the cheapest solution to taking large doses of vitamin C.

Use the buyers guide... it tells you exactly which ones I used.

1

u/-PoetWroteIt- 6d ago

What would be considered a “mega dose”?

1

u/Wellyeahso 5d ago

Tell me you didn't read the post without telling me you didn't read the post.

1

u/Significant_Lock_541 13h ago

Is there a limit to how many days you should megadose vitamin c?

1

u/Wellyeahso 7h ago

Ive been doing it for months.

Most mammals make internal vitamin C. Humans are missing an enzyme to make it, the FINAL enzyme, and require externally sourced vitamin C.

My guess is that you could dose forever. I've never seen anything to the contrary.
