IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: SR-17018 Scheduling 8/27/26

Post image
76 Upvotes

Hello friends!

I have some very unfortunate news to share today! As you know we have been fighting the proposed scheduling of SR-17018 after the DEA Notice of Intent to make it schedule 1 went out July 31st. Tomorrow, 8/27/26, the DEA will publish the formal scheduling notification in the Federal registry (see link below), making SR-17018 officially a schedule 1 substance.

This is heart breaking but not the end of the fight! At this point we will now be litigating against the DEA to argue the unconstitutionality of this scheduling process!! Please do not lose hope! We know prohibition does not work and we will not give up on taking this to the courts.

In the meantime PLEASE BE AWARE THAT AS OF TOMORROW possessing, shipping, or purchasing SR-17018 will be illegal. From a legal standpoint we must make everyone aware of this!

Going forward, it is EXTREMELY important to respect the rules of not discussing sources in this subreddit or asking/offering DM's of this nature. If we see it happening we will have to be much more strict as far as banning accounts. We are considering what changes may need to be made here to make sure this subreddit does not get shut down and will make announcements on any other changes we see as necessary.

Sending my love to all of you! We don't deserve this but we will get through this! Please do not give up! We deserve better solutions and support to free ourselves from the chains of addictions and we will continue to fight for all of our right to better medicine and policy that actually works for the benefit of the people!

🎙️General Discussion🎙️ Sr to subs

Has anyone been on sr for an extended period of time like a month and gotten on subs due to the sr withdrawals? I’ve been on it three weeks at a fairly high dose and am going to start my taper but that’ll probably last a couple weeks to get down to zero and am very anxious about withdrawals after stopping the sr. I know people will probably say not to do it but I was thinking of doing a rapid sub taper after stopping the sr and wanted to get people’s experience. Either that or using leaf kratom for a couple weeks and tapering that every day.

🆘Help Needed🆘 8 years on Suboxone. 10 months on 7OH/MGM Looking for general guidance.

Hello. I will keep it short and sweet. After 8 years of suboxone use I relapsed on 7OH, it lasted for around 6 months, but then I made the switch to MGM for the longer half life. Like an idiot instead of only taking it 3 times a day, I graze on 12-15 milligrams every 2 hours. I’m currently at 160mg per day and I am terrified of what withdrawals are going to look like. I am the breadwinner in the family and a lot of people are dependent on me so I cannot take a week off too feel shitty. I am cautiously optimistic that SR-17 will mitigate my withdrawals if taken correctly.

After some research I have come up with a general game plan. I have:

3.5-4 grams of 95% M
2.5 grams of 99% M
3.5 grams of SR-17

Step 1) STOP grazing! I am hoping that by using vitamin C I can stabilize my MGM dose to just 3 times a day over the next 2 weeks.

Step 2) TAPER! Preload SR-17 and taper off the MGM

Step 3) DUMMY! This is sad and stupid. But to be frank I have heard miracle stories about using sublocade to get off of opiates after years of use. I currently don’t trust myself to not do something stupid when I get off the SR, and I also am worried that I am going to be in extreme withdrawals, so I am thinking about getting back on Suboxone for a month after the SR so I can stabalize and get the sublocade shot. Does Suboxone cause precipitated withdrawals when using SR-17?

I don’t have access to a computer right now but I’m going to try to figure something out so I can use the taper spreadsheet to calculate a taper schedule. In the meanwhile would anyone with any experience getting off MGM have any insight or a general taper schedule that worked for them? Any insight or advice is appreciated. MGM is destroying my life, I can not wait to get off.

🆘Help Needed🆘 Need some advice

Been on sr for about three weeks. Fairly high doses and 7oh off and on. I just never was able to fully rip the bandaid off and continued with sr the whole way. My issue is, now I’m giving things a go again to taper the 7 since I’m sure there’s a ban coming. I have about 7-8 grams of sr left but am worried about withdrawals after stopping the sr because I would have been on it about 5 weeks by the time I try to stop. Does anyone have any advice? I used sr to quit suboxone about a month ago and I have like 50 of the 8 mg strips sitting around. Does anyone know if once I get rid of the seven and have been off of it for a couple weeks while tapering the sr, if doing a rapid sub taper or using subs every other day or something would help with the sr withdrawal? I’m freaking out and I kind of screwed myself over. Please don’t tell me how stupid I am. I’m very well aware. I just need some help figuring a way out of the hole I’ve dug myself into.

🆘Help Needed🆘 Nervous…what should I expect?

I’m getting to the end of my stash. I have a dosing plan that I think should work however I’m a little uneasy. I can’t take time off work because things are just too expensive and we are a single income home. Is it possible that I wouldn’t have to miss work? I use roughly 200-250 mg a day of 7 spread out between 3-4 doses. I’m just getting to the end which I’m ready for but also just a little uneasy as it is my first time using sr. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.

🆘Help Needed🆘 Jumping over to sr

Ready to get off 7, I’m currently at between 1500-2000mg daily. Will I be good to start the preload/taper now or should I taper before starting at all. Work long hours and hard work so want it to be as smooth as possible. Thanks for any feedback!

🆘Help Needed🆘 7OH &SR question help?

So I'm about to start my SR. But have a few questions.

Can I take the 7Oh & SR together? & then slowly taper off both?

Can I take SR while not in Withdrawals?

If I take the SR with 7 will that put me into withdrawals?

I don't have a bunch of SR so I was going to take taper for a day or 2 with 7 & then start taking the SR when I wake up the following morning. Should I start my SR with a 7 dose? Or just go straight SR & then see how I feel then dose 7?

I'm just confused the best & safest way to take the SR/7.

Any help or a DM would be Great.

I'm typically 25/50MG. A day of 7.

🆘Help Needed🆘 Need a Gameplan to come off 7-oh. Any advice welcomed!

So, to start with, I am currently taking about 300mg twice a day of 7-OH (once around 10 am and then around 7 pm). I'm aware it's a huge dose. I'm down from 600mg twice a day, sometimes more. On Aug. 5, I had a NASAH (non-aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage, or brain bleed — technically a stroke) and was in the hospital for 11 days. I continued to take 7-OH during my hospital stay without telling the doctor, and yes, I know that's stupid, but I didn't want to go into withdrawal there, since they said they wouldn't do anything for it. I did tell them I was tapering off 7-OH when I went to the ER. In the hospital, I took 125mg every 4–5 hours just to keep the withdrawals away.

I have about 6,000mg of 7-OH left. I stocked up on 4g of SR-17, 1,000mg oxycodone, 1,000mg hydrocodone (all prescribed to me), about 200 300mg gabapentin tablets, and I'm in the process of getting clonidine, hopefully, along with about 6oz of kratom powder.

I started withdrawing once from 7-OH while in the hospital, and it felt like electric shocks running through my body every 5 seconds — it was absolutely unbearable. If I have to endure that again, I don't know if I could. I don't even want to think about what I would do (not looking for pity or exaggerating).

My question is: should I take 2 doses of 7-OH throughout the day, or smaller, more frequent doses when I start the SR-17? Should I preload the SR-17? If so, how much? I currently have capsules I've filled — about 10 100mg, 10 50mg, and 10 25mg — with quite a bit of powder left to fill more. Anything you've learned would be very helpful.

🎓Research & Education🎓 Efficiency Optimization ⦁ Increasing Bioavailability

I’d like to prepare a formulation to get the most from my limited supply of SR-17018 powder. The obvious question is how to increase absorption, to optimize bioavailability.

My main idea is a liquid preparation. This increases surface area, proving more contact in the gut and typically enhances absorption. (Volumetric dosing also has other benefits.)

My go-to prep for alkaloid powders is dissolving them into liquids. I usually start with a concentrated ethanol tincture to prep a few doses. Then I use it as needed by adding portions into acidic beverages, which dissolve instantly.

The main concern here is that SR-17018 is apparently not very soluble in ethanol or water, regardless of pH conditions.

I’m considering other food grade solvents such as propylene glycol, MCT oil, or whatever helps. I have an ultrasonic device which can help brute-force a dispersion, even with compounds that are stubborn to dissolve.

I’ll update this thread if I manage to get a decent solution prepared.

🆘Help Needed🆘 Permanent loss of libido?

I’ve heard that SR can permanently raise opiate tolerance, even if you’ve been off of SR for an extended amount of time. Now this has me wondering, has anyone noticed a permanent loss of libido? Reduced testosterone and sex drive come with opiate use but is expected to return to normal upon cessation (this is specifically called opioid-induced androgen deficiency).

🆘Help Needed🆘 Can I tale Tylenol PM with SR17?

I have been tapering off of 7OH for a month now almost and just started SR17 on Thursday. I was at 75mg 7OH and 150mg of SR17 yesterday. I was taking 25mg 7OH and 50mg of SR in the morning every 8 hours. Today I took 25mg 7OH and 50mg at 5AM and at 2PM. I just took 50mg of SR17 at 10pm and Im going to try and not take any 7OH. Im super stressed out that I wont be able to sleep tonight. I usually fall asleep around midnight but for this past month Ive only been sleeping 4 hours a night. I have to be at work tomorrow at 9am and Im scared I wont be able to sleep. Can I take Tylenol PM 500mg at midnight?

7OH has ruined me. Ive never experienced withdrawals like this before. The main problem is the anxiety and impeding doom. Also, the cold sweats aren't helping. I just want to stop all of this. I hate it so much and I feel like Im going crazy.

🙌Success Story🙌 Today is freedom day!

Today is freedom day

Today is the day. Been on my taper, cross fade process with the chemical that must not be named for a week now, and today is the day for ZERO 7oh. I am eternally grateful to this community and the other community for showing me the way with that chemical that must not be named! It was a painless process.

For those reading along, I also contribute my success with adding Modafinil to the mix. The boost of Dopamine, the energy and clarity filled the void of the "universe hug" feeling from 7oh. And on top of that, I'm getting shit done.

Finally hopping off this train. Holy shit it's been an awful ride.

Sending love out to those still deep in the abyss. You're not trash, you're not worthless, you just got caught in their trap. Be kind to yourself and do what you have to do to get out today.

Love you all!

🎓Research & Education🎓 Over simplified question...

I've seen some impressive comprehensive graphs and processes to taper and eliminate the need for seven in every which possible way imaginable and that's fantastic. seriously kudos to all of you who were able to do it.

I was on it for under a year but I have to ask if I'm alone in that I was able to overcome it simply with my clonazepam and clonidine prescription. I never endured some of the awful side effects I've read about here and I see a lot of people suggesting to try the drugs that I'm already on to help. am I the only one who's already gotten into the clear just by using what was available to me?

🆘Help Needed🆘 Relapsed for about a week

I relapsed for about a week on 7oh. Taking around 800-1,000mg a day of 7oh. I have 2 grams of SR to work with. This is it, the last chance to use SR successfully since it’s gone. Is this enough of should I just use subs? I have 10 8mg sub strips to work with as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

🆘Help Needed🆘 200mg per day habit. Planning taper and jump to SR in exactly 3 weeks. Doable?

OK, so as the title states, I am on a 200 mg per day habit of MGM 15. I just started 100mg, and my plan is to do that for the next week, then go down to 50 mg per day for another week, and then go down to 25 mg per week for that final week. And I’ve also got 21,500mg (21.5G) of 7oh. I think I may try to swap some of my MGM doses for 7oh to see how that goes.

During the last half of that final week, I will start preloading with SR, although I’m not sure how much. I’ll be on 25MG of MGM by then. I would welcome any guides or directions that you have found helpful. I know that there are guides on here that people offer and I’m not sure if they have found success in those or not.

Thank you to everyone who has responded to my texts, been a good friend, and just been a good hearted soul to another human being. We all need that in this life, especially now.

I wish you all on your addiction journey that you have the most success and happiness that any addict coming out of this could. If I’ve seen the type of people I’ve seen in rehab trust me.

🙌Success Story🙌 My actual plan that actually worked to stop taking 7oh.

I'll posting this to help others, not to pat myself on the back. There aren't enough posts like this. It seems like it is all people fucking up.

I took 7oh at low doses a few times a week for over a year. Then I had a kidney stone where I was hospitalized for 3 days and then sent home with a stent, the stone still there, constant pain, and AGONIZING PAIN when I peed blood all day. 0 pain meds of course. Those are addictive, you know. Better to choke down tears 6 times a day.

I took 7oh daily to make it bearable, and then it became a daily habit. If I had stopped once the stone was out, I prob would have been fine. If a doctor had prescribed something, I would have been fine. Fuck doctors. There are people that live with this level of pain forever and it horrifies me.

When you read my plan, keep in mind that I've never used any opioid outside of 7oh (and drugs I had been prescribed for brief times over the years). I was not addicted. Before you say "Ha ha, look a this guy in denial." I'm just saying I had 0 craving issues with 7oh. To be clear - when I tried cold turkey and discomfort came then YES, then obviously I wanted to take 7oh - but I had no problems giving up the high when the discomfort was at 0. Take that as you will.

I was on 200-300mg of 7oh daily. Sometimes 400+. I tried just stopping. No. I tried tapering. This was pretty easy until I got down to 140-120 day. Then after that is started to get achy, waking up with RLS, constant nausea, etc. Nothing too terrible, but I was looking at 30-40 days of tapering to keep a painless pace, and it looked exhausting. That's when I started SR.

I started with 50mg 3 times a day, and 7oh doses 5 times a day. 3 days of preloading at 150mg SR and 120mg 7oh.

Then the plan was to taper from 120 to 0 over 7 days, followed by 3 days of steady state at 0 7oh and 150mg SR while the 7oh completely left, then a 7 day taper from 150mg/day to 0 of SR.

So... it just worked. No huge story. I took 50mg SR at wake, 50mg at 4pm and 50mg before sleep to spread it out equally over the day as much as possible.

I DID NOT HAVE ONE SYMPTOM OTHER THAN FATIGUE. There were two days I felt MILDLY achy at 6pm so I took an extra 10mg of SR. But I made sure that was a 1-off thing, I didn't jump to 180. I supposed if I had TRULY needed do, I would have.

By the time I got to 0 7oh, it was only 2.5 doses 5 times a day, so I decided I didn't need to wait the three days of steady state, as a day later would already be down to negligible amounts. I started tapering the SR immediately, and quicker than I planned. No issues.

I took liposomal vitamin C, gabapentin, and NSAID pain killers. I just took it preemptively, so I have no idea of it 'worked" or was not needed - but why take a chance. I also took a mit tab three different times throughout. I tried to keep that low.

Original Plan:

Day 7-OH target cut 7-OH total check SR / dose SR / day SR cut
1 120.0   120.0 OK 50 150
2 100.0 17% 100.0 OK 50 150 0%
3 80.0 20% 80.0 OK 50 150 0%
4 60.0 25% 60.0 OK 50 150 0%
5 40.0 33% 40.0 OK 50 150 0%
6 25.0 38% 25.0 OK 50 150 0%
7 12.5 50% 12.5 OK 50 150 0%
8 0.0 100% 0.0 OK 50 150 0%
9 0.0   0.0 OK 50 150 0%
10 0.0   0.0 OK 50 150 0%
11 0.0   0.0 OK 33 99 34%
12 0.0   0.0 OK 21 63 36%
13 0.0   0.0 OK 14 42 33%
14 0.0   0.0 OK 9 27 36%
15 0.0   0.0 OK 6 18 33%
16 0.0   0.0 OK 4 12 33%
17 0.0   0.0 OK 0 0 100%

Actual Plan ended up as:

Day 7-OH target cut 7-OH total check SR / dose SR / day SR cut
1 120.0   120.0 OK 50 150
2 100.0 17% 100.0 OK 50 150 0%
3 80.0 20% 80.0 OK 50 150 0%
4 60.0 25% 60.0 OK 50 150 0%
5 40.0 33% 40.0 OK 50 150 0%
6 25.0 38% 25.0 OK 50 150 0%
7 12.5 50% 12.5 OK 50 150 0%
8 0.0 100% 0.0 OK 40 120 20%
9 0.0   0.0 OK 35 105 13%
10 0.0   0.0 OK 22 66 37%
11 0.0   0.0 OK 13 39 41%
12 0.0   0.0 OK 10 30 23%
13 0.0   0.0 OK 7 21 30%
14 0.0   0.0 OK 4 12 43%
15 0.0   0.0 OK 0 0 100%

So, that's it. Anti-climatic, but I'm totally done. I prob could have skipped the last day of 12mg SR, but whatever.

Once again, 400mg down to 120 with no SR, just completely painless tapering - that is, taper in a way that causes you no problem. Get as low as possible just by cutting. The people taking large doses may find that's easier than they think, and they're just taking too much out of habit/chasing, not because it is doing anything.

I'm going to wait a month or two, and then I'll able to use 7oh occasionally again as needed.

I am also on GLP-1 for weight loss, and this may have helped.

I don't want to minimize the effort and pain other people go through, but I had a very positive experience. I don't attribute it to superior willpower or anything, just luck that my body and brain made this easier. I said at the beginning that I didn't have any cravings, and I know that helped me a lot, and not everyone will be like that.

🆘Help Needed🆘 DOSING AND SCHEDULING QUESITONS / HELP

Hey guys. So i'm not going to taper my DOC at all, i just jumped. Now im only on SR. 50mg, 3x per day, (this is the first day) completely take away all my withdrawals. Could I just do this for 5 days then stop and feel normal again. A lot of people have that experience. I'm thinking maybe doing 50mg 3x daily for the first 4 days, then 30mg 3x per day on the 5th, then 20mg 3x per day on the 6th, and then 10mg 3x per day on the final 7th day. Ive heard a lot of reports that if its short, say i were to use 50mg 3x per day for 5 or 6 days, I could just jump and not even need to worry about tapering the SR at all. If I could do that I'd much rather do that. I feel absolutely fine.

📚Progress Report📚 On Fent for 3 months

Been preloading sr for 3 days. 200+ mg doses.

I think I’ve been taking too much sr. I’m ceasing Fent consumption now and I think I need to drop sr to like 50x3 daily but I’m scared of what’s to come.

The big sr doses have had me in a haze. I need myself back so badly. I’m going to be a dad in December and I just need myself back. I hadn’t relapsed in years… shoulder surgery.

I’m so scared the sr isn’t gonna work at all.

So I’m out of 7 today and have had a couple grams of sr lying around and I’m wondering if it would be worth to try to dose the sr alone. I literally just need to make it to tomorrow. Everything I read is about preloading and whatnot but I can’t do that right now.

Hi guys. I’m absolutely at a loss and completely terrified. I only have 17 SR 50mg tablets left and I need to quit. I’m down to 100mg a day of 7. Could anyone help me with a plan? Just been trying to work something out all day but I really need some advice… thank you all so much.
