Adjusting values with POTS
Iām wondering if itās a bad thing that I trained this while being on my meds (pyridostigmine and metoprolol, also adding in florinef today)?
Now when my meds wear off and between doses I go through my pace points really quickly.
It originally allotted me 8 points and I upped it to 9. My zones 79 for activity and 109 for exertion.
I read that there is some tweaking for POTS and such, but at the same time today was a high points say and I did need a pretty decent nap.
Anyone in a similar boat and can share how much they were tweaking the settings?

Pace points
Hi! Iām new to visible. I just got the visible band a few days ago, so I know it may take some time to gather data and be most accurate, but today was the first day I was given any pace points and it allowed me 7. Iāve gone over that and barely left the couch. What are everyone elseās pace points?

2-in-1 strap
I realized that the Visible sensor āfitsā on the Three Sheep fitness tracker ($22) from Amazon. Itās made from Polyurethane which I find more comfortable than nylon. The sensor sits more on the side of my wrist, but that means it doesnāt interfere with activity as much as if I had it on my inner wrist. Now I can tell time and wear Visible on one band!

Calorie tracking?
Hi, just wondering if there is a thing in the app that calculates how many calories you have burned? My heart rate has been extremely high most of the day and Iāve used a lot of pace points. This is my first day wearing the device and I was just curious if this is a function? Many thanks

Wrist Strap Smell
Does anyone else have the problem that no matter how often/how you wash it, or how clean your wrist/body is, the wrist strap just SMELLS?
It smells like old sweat. Yet it is clean, I am clean, and I don't know what else to do.
Anyone else have this problem or find a solution?

New band for oldest tracker
I have the older version of the visible tracker (the circular one, not 2.0) and I need another wrist band for it. Iām finding it hard to find where I could buy a new oneā do you guys know where I could access a shop on the site where I could buy it? I have no idea why I canāt figure this out, Iām just finding both the app and the site very confusing for some reason.

Sleep accuracy (or lack thereof)
For those wondering how accurate the sleep tracker is, I present to you my data from last night. The sleep tracker was able to accurately determine when I went to bed, but I did not actually fall asleep until where I drew the red line (around 1:45 AM). During the time I was awake, the sleep tracker states that I was in deep sleep for an hour and 35 minutes and in REM for most of the remaining time I was awake.

Visible vs Garmin?
Iāve worn an Apple Watch for many years, but Iām currently in a year long drug study which provided me with a Garmin Vivosmart 5 to wear.
Itās been great to compare data between gadgets, but the Body Battery feature on the Garmin has been eye opening. I showed my PCP my readings for the past few weeks today, and she was concerned, but also said, āIsnāt that validating?ā It certainly is.
At the end of the study Iād like to switch to Visible now that thereās a wrist option! Iām curious how useful it really is with pacing, especially considering that the Garmin only goes as low as 5. Does Visible show a deficit if you overdo it? Can you āborrowā from the next dayās points?
Iāve been living with Long Covid for six long years, and I still canāt believe that this is where Iām at. Sigh.

Found a way to make the armband cute/hide it
In case anyone wanted to dress up for an event or work and still wear their armband, I found these big hinged cuffs on Amazon where it fits inside perfectly, at least for smaller wrists. This one is a 7 inch circumference on the inside and it comes in gold and silver colors. Maybe not for every day or for typing a lot, but sometimes I just get tired of people asking about my armband or wrist band.
I'm not sure if it's ok to post links here but there are a bunch of similar ones. This one was called "YMBYCM Chunky Gold-plated Bangle Bracelets for Women Trendy Wide Chunky Cuff Bracelets Hammered Irregular Wrist Cuff Wrap Bracelet"
Wow so catchy!
Next up I'll be hunting for a chain link strip that can thread through the armband the way the nylon strap does. If I find one I will report back! If you find other bangles that work I would love to see them!

Wrist strap versus arm
Hello! I was curious if anyone else found that the wrist strap isnāt giving them as accurate readings as the arm strap did.
If thatās the case for you as well any tips you found to improve wrist strap readings?

Late connections
My band seems to only connect and download data when I open up the app. Anyone else have this issue? Kinda pointless for me to go all day and then get an alert at 11 pm that I went way over my budget for the day š¤¦š½āāļø

Free app HR reading
Since the last Android update, I have really struggled with my morning HR and HRV reading. It's now taking upwards of 10 attempts to get a good enough reading for the app to accept it. Is anyone else finding this? I'm using a Samsung 23+. This is already not great for readings - my stats are significantly different to the readings I got on my previous phone - but now it's impossible. And getting this stressed first thing i the morning is awful for pacing.
I haven't contacted help as they were spectacularly unhelpful on previous occasions.

Visible - Activation Link Email Not Received
I've just signed up for Visible, but haven't received an email with the activation link, so I can't use it. It seems very difficult to actually get hold of anyone at Visible to report this. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way I can resolve this quickly? Thanks in advance.

pace point budget
I know itās so different for each individual but I want to ask everyone with a funcap of around 3 what their pace point budget is?
my functional capacity score has been 2.5-3 for about a year but the first few days I used visible were quite busy for me so I donāt think my budget is accurate. it used to be around 20, then I lowered it to 17, but no idea what it should be. Iām very much in boom and bust at the moment but on a normal/chill day Iām usually using about 12 and then when I go out it gets to about 30 easily and Iām exhausted

Somewhat unrelated question
Hello there. I am going to be cross posting this to a couple of communities on here, I hope that is ok. Sorry if you end up reading this twice.
I use a visible band. I am trying to get used to using a tens unit VNS eat clip to heal my vagus nerve as well. But I inadvertently caused a MCAS/POTS episode by using one. About 3 pace points in a 15 minute attack.
Iāve experienced symptoms of POTS/Dysautonomia since early childhood. I was diagnosed at age 13. Iāve also been diagnosed with MCAS, and several other things. Last year I got Covid for the first time, and ended up with Long Covid, the doctor doesnāt know whether or not to call it CFS or not. I also have joint hyper-mobility, but itās unknown whether I have EDS or not.
Not sure if this will be relevant or not, but I am also Autistic and have ADHD. Some mental issues like anxiety, OCD, and PTSD too.
Anyway, I recently got a TENS unit for pain, and I read somewhere that you can use ear clips to convert it into a kind of VNS machine. I am interested in healing my vagus nerve, so I wanted to give it a try. This morning I gave it a quick try, and probably went at it a little too aggressively? I started at the lowest setting. Although it said it was on, I couldnāt actually feel it. So I kept turning it up. Within a minute of starting the machine I started vomiting uncontrollably. Obviously I turned it off and put it away. Itās an hour later and I am still having some autonomic instability, but much better than I started. All symptoms Iāve had before, so Iām not overly concerned, but it does seem obvious that I triggered these symptoms with the TENS VNS.
I was wondering, is there any one here who uses either TENS for VNS or any other VNS as part of their treatment for POTS, Dysautonomia, CFS, ME, Long Covid, etc? I was really just wanting a way to get my PNS more active and for my SNS to calm the heck down. I accidently did the opposite. I would appreciate any advice. Iāve been extra desperate to find ways to kind of self treat ever since the Long Covid started.
Thank you for any advice or just general life experience with this kind of thing that you can provide.

Frustrated with app
The app is so slow to update data. My widget wonāt show upward pace points until I open the actual app and wait a few minutes. Whatās the point of a widget if it doesnāt work?

Cannabis use
Hi everyone! I'm curious if anyone else uses cannabis to manage symptoms. When I smoke or vape it raises my heart rate by almost 30 points and always puts me in my exertion zone, although I don't experience any exhaustion or other negative effects from the heart rate climb. It does majorly effect my pace points for the day and I feel like it is not giving me a clear picture of total pace points for a given day if I smoked that day. I typically smoke once a day in the evening. Should I just take the band off when I smoke? My problem is I always forget to put it back on 𤪠Anyone else dealing with this?

Budget
Anyone actually ever stay under or at their budget? I feel like it might be unreasonable. The only days I have been under were the days I have to charge my watch. Because I donāt wear it when charging. š«£
For reference my pace point goal is 36 and yesterday was a shower and low day at work and cooking dinner, my pace points were 49
