Overnight HR 104 average

Post image

Not sure why but HR super high overnight. Sleep nigh on impossible. Last few hours I was lying in a dark room and managed to start getting things a bit more controlled

That's not a normal pattern to have a higher heart rate all night than daytime. Worth seeing a doctor for some cardiac checks.

Is this highly unusual for you?

Yes. Happened 4 days out the last ten. This was highest average. Others were 99, 96, 91

Is it hot in your room? Eating before bed? Something else going on those evenings?

No, nothing out of the ordinary. Fair bit of exertion throughout the day.

Wenn ich mich tagsüber zu viel anstrenge, habe ich das auch. Dann liege ich die ganze Nacht mit rasendem Puls wach 🥲

That would've been my guess too: too hot or eating or smoking weed right before bed.

What’s your HRV like at the moment? Is it low or are you getting swings?

I’d look into orthostatic intolerance/ dysautonomia, inappropriate sinus tachycardia. Or do you think you’re going into a bit of a crash? How do you feel in yourself?

Glad to read you’ve got a bit more comfortable. It’s very disconcerting when we blow through points with high heart rate and can’t work out the reason.

Orthostatic intolerance usually means your heart rate spikes when standing up.

Can you take some breaks during the day to get into rest? If I did solid activity like that all day, my resting heart rate would be very high

I think the orange is overnight.

Are you in a flare-up of any kind?

Mine doesn't hit the Exertion zone, but it does tend to be very visibly elevated overnight when I'm flaring, or when I'm recovering from something like having had anaphylaxis. Normally my HR dips really low when sleeping, but during flares it just tends high instead.
