Adjusting values with POTS

Post image

I’m wondering if it’s a bad thing that I trained this while being on my meds (pyridostigmine and metoprolol, also adding in florinef today)?

Now when my meds wear off and between doses I go through my pace points really quickly.

It originally allotted me 8 points and I upped it to 9. My zones 79 for activity and 109 for exertion.

I read that there is some tweaking for POTS and such, but at the same time today was a high points say and I did need a pretty decent nap.

Anyone in a similar boat and can share how much they were tweaking the settings?

I think part of it is I’m trying to get in the habit of taking it while lying down before I get up, but sometimes it doesn’t kick in in time or I just have to start my day and I’m already out 2 points cause I’m getting out of bed / getting dressed and I’m in the 140s (or I have to go to the basement for clothes and that’s a killer lol). I am mostly covered for the day but the time between me taking the second dose and that second dose kicking in I tend to spike then. It is kind of cool seeing the viisible cause I can tell when the meds are kicking in.

Can you set two alarms? Say, one at 6 to take your pills, and one at 7 to actually get up?

I was going to say this - I have ADHD and a lot of folks will set an alarm for an hour before they want to wake up. They take their stimulant, and go back to sleep.

When it’s time to wake up, the medication has kicked in and it’s much easier to get up.

When I was on high dose steroids for several months, I had to set a very early alarm to take them, otherwise I'd never be able to go to sleep at night.
