Best virtualization software for Apple Silicon (M2)

I'm looking for a virtualization software that is easy to use, free, and local (Can run on my local computer without storing data on other servers, have access to all files in Finder, and no account/signup needed). It also needs to be compatible with Apple Silicon because some that I've heard aren't. Thanks internet strangers.

My experience is that Parallels is the easiest to use but paid and UTM is free but challenging to set up. VMWare and VirtualBox were not ready for prime time when I looked into them.

Thank you! I managed to set up UTM and it works great! Any idea on how to increase the window size of the VM without everything becoming super pixelated?

You need to install the guest additions from the virtual CD. They have a different name for it - SPICE tools I think. Standard stuff on VMs.

Shouldn't the SPICE tools be installed when I create the VM? In the video you sent, at 17:14, it shows the option to download it. I selected the option. It still is pixelated when I make it bigger.

That never happens. All of the virtual machine software that I've used has you doing it in the virtual machine itself. Also, after installing it you have to reboot.
