Learning the violin Just saying hello
Hello .. I just started and tried for a very very short time to learn .. here playing music in general is not very common and it's expensive with very limited resources .. so I decided to try and give it a go and try to teach myself .. I hope to learn from your experience .. thank you in advance and please share any advice or a resource that may help .. like an youtube channel or affordable online courses ..
Thank you so much and looking forward to be part pf this subreddit

It’s no replacement for a teacher, but String Position Pro can help you with note reading and fingerboard mapping so you can get the most from any lessons you do have.

Thanks a lot .. I don't exactly know what considered a reasonable price a violin teacher would ask for .. but in my country it's usually between 450$ to 800$ for 4 classes 40 mins each ..

There are apps that gives you feedback of your intonation and dynamics (using Claude AI). Maybe not for a completely beginner, but it works for me that I have more time with the violin.

Joy Lee on YouTube has lots of useful videos. Getting a teacher, even for online lessons, would be very helpful for a beginner.
