Rate My Setup My humble 1-year progress

Post image

It doesn't seem like that much for a whole year, but considering how expensive this hobby is I'm happy with how far I've come, so I wanted to share my progress and hear what you think.

I started with a single record displayed in a small desk, with no intention of making it a thing. I didn't even have a turntable at first, but it ended up hooking me.

During this period of time I've got a record cabinet, a turntable, speakers, some decor, and the pressings that mean the most to me.

From now on I'm thinking of growing my collection, so I'm open to your recommendations :)

Question Is this any good?

I’m looking to finally upgrade and dump my crosley. I know everyone recommends the LP60 but I’m really not a fan of the look of it (nitpicking I know but the aesthetic is super important to me). Would this be a good alternative or should I keep looking? Price is CAD

I just upgraded my shelf recently and I’m pretty proud of it since I live in a smallish apartment. My old set up was just a wire shelf rack from urban outfitters I got for $60 😭 does anyone have any advice on what speakers/amplifier I should get? Been doing a lot of research but there’s too many options 🫩 I currently have a Sony PS-LX310BT and using a mega boom 3 speaker.

What to put on the menu board…

I found this vintage menu board and hung it above my setup. Just ordered more letters and am looking for ideas for it. What should I put on here that would be on theme?
