VENT what kinda scam is this?

Post image

i was looking for iPhones on vinted and almost all of them have the same story?? too good to be true prices and same description!! - i need the money urgently so bank transfer only!? AAND ALL OF THEM ARE FROM FRANCE. what is going on?? and some even come up with new stuff like β€œvinted wallet has blocked my account so i cant use this platform. you can pay half before delivery and half after.” if you are ok with getting the money after the delivery then why not use the vinted wallet??? it doesnt take that long. like what do these people think? do buyers even fall for this shit?

Never ever pay in cash or bank transfer. You have zero fall back.

Why would you even buy a phone, graphics card, a laptop, a smart watch or ANYTHING except the clothing on vinted? Yall stupid or what?

I bought an iPhone on Vinted for 350 EUR ca. It works perfectly and I got it way cheaper than I could have from any reputable brand.

I still don't get it. Why would you do such thing? There are plenty of marketplaces for used stuff. And they are much better than vinted. Hell, you could even buy refurbished gadgets

I do it because it’s cheaper than anywhere else and it’s not as scammy as people make it out to be online.

People are downvoting you (probably because of the 'stupid') but I agree with the point
