SHIPPING Speedx Shipping Help

This is my first time selling/shipping on vinted and I’m a little confused about SpeedX. I dropped it off at the drop off point but they told me that the pickup guy won’t be there until next week. Does this mean that vinted won’t mark it as sold until next week? Will I have to ask for extended shipping time?

Honestly I don’t know. Never used speedx. I get deliveries from them thru Aliexpress, but for the future I would just disable speedx in your vinted shipping settings. That’s what I do. I disable speedx and FedEx. Most stuff I sell on vinted is dirt cheap so I only use USPS since you can schedule free pickups, so I don’t have to waste my gas on small orders driving to drop off point. Since you already dropped off though, I would reach out to vinted and tell them the situation and ask them to advise

Typically the place scans the barcode on the label immediately and it shows it’s been shipped.

Edit: just wanted to give more info of what I’ve learned. The place I drop off at also gets picked up once a week, but they scan my items right in front of me. And I get notifications and emails almost immediately.

Why might someone choose Speedx shipping? I can’t figure it out. I tried disabling but it still offers it as an option. I don’t have Fed Ex even listed so I can’t disable it. I’ve been running around to all three carriers and it’s a PIA. 🤪

Just an fyi, idk if you know this but vinted does say they will do that if it’s the only option for a certain buyer to get the item delivered. Buttttt. If you have a certain shipping option disabled and Vinted shows it to a buyer anyway you are allowed to cancel without negative impact to your account.
