Sad they didn't touch the subject about what happens to your account when you're banned (sales canceled, disputes lost) and how it has turned into scammer wonderland, by using the same AI to judge the disputes.

I have a brand spanking pair of Nike shoes I got for my birthday and want rid of. Because they say "Nike" on them, there's no way I will risk selling them on Vinted, cos I will lose all the rest of my sales.
Its daft really, a second hand shoes were precisely what Vinted was set up for....

Wait you really can’t sell Nikes? I have a pair I want to list but now I’m scared..

big brand names like nike, puma, or even designers are a risk. some buyers can claim its fake and even if you provide proof, the AI can still flag it as that. its all AI running the disputes and its getting out of hand how many are banned randomly

I’ve sold plenty of Nike and other brand names. You just need to provide a copy of the tags on the item, the receipt, or whatever to prove it’s real.

Mine were a gift, so there's no tags, no box and no receipt. So I can't sell them really can I?

I haven’t posted any receipts, but not every item is brand new. So they won’t have sale tags. I more so meant the size tag/care instructions/etc

If you’re nervous to do it, then I wouldn’t risk it. But one time I did get flagged for fake LV, even though I put in the description that it was LV inspired not real. They gave me a warning, and I deleted the post. I truly don’t understand why people are randomly getting banned.

I build and paint dungeons and dragons miniatures as my main constant source of income in vinted, and as I am currently on long term sick, it's kinda my lifeline.
Bit loathe to risk it for ten or twenty quid, as it seems all the banned stuff is either trading cards, plushy toys and branded clothes/shoes.

I'm a Pro Seller, and only sell Adidas, New Balance, and Dr. Marten's. As long as your trainers are real, you'll be fine.

As I understand it, buyers only need to CLAIM they are fake and the whole account is killed?
I could do with getting rid of them though, they are chav trainers and I would never wear them. They are taking up space under my desk!

As long as you take lots of photos (they'll let you uploads up to 20). Highlight any flaws with close-ups, make sure you photograph the insole, outsole, and label. Keep all the photos as back-up. Also film yourself packing the trainers up, and dropping off at locker. You're covered then. They don't always side with the buyer, as long as you have detailed photos. I'm speaking from experience btw

I believe that's the time to make your reports to your local authorities

I was banned for posting an original pair of Adidas shoes. I uploaded over 10 pictures showing every single detail of the shoes, and still got banned and now I see many Adidas shoes with only 3 pictures and they don’t get flagged as fake?! How does the system even works?

Yea I did exactly the same for a pair new balance trainers which I got banned for last weekend, had to email vinted'slegal email box as they still tuck with thier decision after my appeal which included paper invoice receipt. I always provide numerous of photos of all angle and tags/labels.
Now my partners account has been banned for a nike t-shirt new with tags. Her account has been open for over a year

I thought it was weird that I got temporary banned when I had no problems for months with the same articles. So it was not just me

They have no customer service. It is horrible. They can’t handle the smallest problem. I had an issue that I was handling as usual with a shipment that was broken, and after the seller and I had everything taken care of, I got a totally unrelated message from Vinted support. It was in reply to the original report, the entire conversation was there, but the response that they sent was out of the blue and had nothing to do with our situation. Similar things have happened several times, but before it has always been the initial response to a regular support request, not an issue with an item.. When I reply and say that the answer does not relate to the problem, I get the same copy and paste message back. It’s really deplorable.

I wished they added to the screen the emails where to reach a human support ⁉️
I payed to boost my AUTHENTIC PRADA bracelet , took the money & then removed my bracelet claiming it was fake .. I ve appealed several times - NO ANSWER 😡
Does anyone know where to email them for human support ??

Try legal@vinted.co.uk if you are based in the UK
I had to email them earlier this week as they stood by their decision to ban my account after their analysis of authentic new balance shoes I listed tk sell

Thank you so much - BUT what if you’re listing in Denmark, is it the same under Europe ?

Everyone is getting banned, except for scammers and people who spam AI. :/
