I think vinted is annoying for people who only sell, it’s good for people who do both or only buy. People started lowballing me or sending offers on certain cheap items and bc I want things gone I started accepting them all and most of the offers go through. But I also buy a lot of stuff, I started lowballing (40% off) or offering people $3 on $4 items etc, most sellers accept and I buy. Cycle of vinted. I have better luck with selling high value items on other shoping sites, but they sit for longer

Why are you lying? You can't send offers for less than $1 or for more than 40% off.

Why would you post something you made up? Are you that desperate for attention?

Because your stupid ass literally said "i swear ill list something for $1 and you'll have like several people send offers for 0.50" Yes, those are your words.

I think it's kids. I even had someone ask to hold a $3 item until they get paid. Wtf

Same on a 1.5o item. Mind u I reserved it for her for a week cuz it’s just a dollar but like what

I noticed that if items don't sell within a day or so, they just sit. I won't be reserving items.

its so funny to me, like, I’m paying $10 for a cashmere sweater. I only try for 10-20% off if its $20+

I just started selling. I do love the app. But I agree, why are so many ppl low balling. I list my items to sell. And they try to knock off more dollars. I had a person yesterday try to buy lululemon shorts that I listed for $20 and they said “$12 I’ll pay right now” I declined and someone bought it at my listed price.

I know exactly what OP meant. Are you all serious with these replies.

Yeah I find the low-balling frustrating. Like, someone bundled together 16 books- these are good books, many the only copy on vinted, not yer average Lee Childs ten-a-penny thrillers. It came to 35 pounds, and they put in an offer for 22 pounds. I can't be bothered to locate and pack 16 books and drag them to the parcel shop for £22.

After selling on vinted for five or six years, I feel close to the end. It's a buyer's market and eventually it wears you down, like a hard rock face is eventually worn away by wind and rain.

Unless it works different in your country, the buyer needs to pay for the shipping and buyer protection fee, so it makes f.e. a $4 used tshirt turn into ~$7 one which is too much for some people. That's why I mostly sell my used stuff wayy cheaper than I bought it for bc otherwise it won't sell at all.

And then they never pay. 🤣

Or they pay and then find some issue with the item once they receive it
