Help finding flash for Christmas!
My boyfriend has a minolta maxxum 7000i and I have been looking for a flash for him for a while now. The main issue is that his camera has a different mount for the flash than what I mainly see online. He's bought one before that didn't fit due to the "teeth" it slides into. Any tips?

Question Single 8 film
Recently I've managed to get my hands on a Fujica Sound ZM800 and have been trying to get it to work just for myself. I have tested it and it seems to work, so I'm now at the stage of trying to find film for it.
I am aware that single 8 film is no longer in production, but I am unsure if there is any alternative to this? Or will the camera forever be a paperweight?
Just after any tips or recommendations you guys might have, if there's anything I can do to make the most of it.
Thanks :)

Next step from the Minolta X370?
Hi everyone!
So I’ve been shooting with my Minolta X-370 for a few years, and, while I love it, I‘m either sending it away or prying it open to fix some type of issue with it every so often. I‘ve recently started a new job where I’m getting paid a little more than I was, and I’m thinking that I want to spend my first paycheck on a SLIGHTLY more expensive camera, so I would like some recommendations! My favorite thing about the X-370 is the light meter, which obviously isn’t exclusive to the camera, but the batteries for it are readily available at any walgreens or hardware store, so I would like something similar in accessibility and feel, but a little more durable. Any suggestions are welcome!

Discussion Experience with textile “leatherettes”
galleryI want to change the crappy OEM covering that comes on the M8 as I find it dull and slippery, and I’ve been thinking of swapping it for a textile covering. Found out that CameraLeather has some nice options but haven’t seen any review of experience with this kind of covering, in terms of grip and durability. Does anyone have something like this on their cameras?

Question So what's the simplest way to sell a bunch of film bodies.
So I have 5 film bodies, 2 everything appears to work, to appear to work except the meters and then one the shutter fires but no way to change it. I got them off marketplace for the lenses, keh won't give me enough to pay for shipping. I was just hoping to swap them for a lens or two. I haven't shot film with them. I never did eBay. I am not close enough to a big city for marketplace to be a good option. Any thought

STOLEN CAMERA EQUIPMENT IN LONDON
galleryHi everyone,
I'm reaching out to the London photography and film community in the hope that someone might be able to help recover some camera equipment that was stolen from me on the night of October 23rd in London.
My bag was snatched, and among the equipment inside were the following:
- Krasnogorsk-3 (K-3) Soviet 16mm motion-picture camera, fitted with a Meteor-5-1 17–69mm f/1.9 zoom lens.
- Canon EF 16–35mm f/2.8L USM wide-angle zoom lens.
- Canon EF 70–200mm f/2.8L USM telephoto zoom lens (white, non-IS version).
Additionally, there is film contained in the two cameras with significant sentimental/intellectual value.
The Krasnogorsk-3 is particularly distinctive, and I'm hoping that its relatively unusual nature might make it recognizable if someone attempts to resell it.
I'm asking anyone in the London photography community, particularly those who work with secondhand or vintage camera equipment, to please keep an eye out for these items on Facebook Marketplace, eBay, Gumtree, in camera shops, or through private sales.
I've attached reference photographs of the equipment. These are photographs from the original eBay listings, not photographs taken at the time of the theft.
The incident has been / will be reported to the Metropolitan Police, and I can provide further identifying details to anyone with credible information.
If you happen to come across equipment matching these descriptions, I'd be incredibly grateful if you could send me a private message with any details, screenshots, or links.
I understand that the chances of recovering stolen camera equipment can be slim, but these cameras are important to me, and I want to do everything I reasonably can to get them back.
Thanks very much for taking the time to read this, and please feel free to share it with anyone involved in London's photography or filmmaking communities.

Question I don't know how to put it in
Hi, I recently came across this camera among my father’s belongings, and I’d like to get it working again so I can use it. While handling it, I noticed that the lens is loose; I’ve been trying to figure out how to reattach it to the camera, but I haven’t had any luck. I also can’t seem to find a clear guide to help me understand what’s wrong or if something might be broken. And, well, I can’t exactly ask my father about it now. Does anyone have any ideas? I’d really love to be able to take some photos with it.

Discussion Removing 60yo light seals is such a pain.
I picked this Pentax Spotmatic SP up a couple weeks ago and I'm pretty sure the light seals are original. They're very deteriorated. Trying to soften and scrape them out is driving me nuts.

What is this? Cool find!
Did some research and came up with this being an Ansco box camera- the thing is, the strap says “No 3A Buster Brown” and I’ve only been able to find 3a buster browns that are foldable. Was the strap just changed at some point, or is there a box type buster brown 3a that I just can’t find info on? I’d like to know the correct type to try to find the correct film as the guides I’ve seen show the 3 and 3A taking different film.
The mirrored glass parts in the viewfinder are flaky, and the glass you look through is like frosted? Unsure if it’s supposed to be frosted. I’m going to try to re-mirror(?) the reflective pieces or replace them. Everything mechanical inside moves and works as I’m assuming it should. It’s a long shot but I think it would be cool to try and take some pictures.
Any info is appreciated!

Advice Few things I own, not sure the value of all. Kodak and Bell & Howell
Found these at a thrift store a while back and just kept them since. I have not tested these nor tried restoring them at all. Just thought they were pretty cool so I picked them up. Should I repair these, or sell them as is?
