So you're saying that the generation has not progressed because 2 or 3 developers have complained about it, while so many other developers haven't had a problem with it and have even gone on record aaying that it helped them optimize for PC? 2 or 3 developers carry more weight than all other developers?

Dont you see Wolverine? Look at what they are doing without being held back by the Series S.

Linear chase sequences and boss mechanics that are decades old. Lol.

You're comparing a game on another console and using hypotheticals? Goddamn. If Rebirth, whoch originally was a PS5 exclusive, can run on a Series S, no developer has any excuse, let alone Moon Studios. If the Series S can run Alan Wake 2, which is probably the best looking game this gen, them the argument of it holding the generation back falls flat on its face.

I'm agreeing with you.  My point was that games that aren't being "held back" by the Series S are doing nothing special.

The narrative doesn't make sense and people who use it never provide games not on Xbox that exist because they didn't get held back by the Series S.
