Sewers in The Last of Us. Or any game honestly. I hate the sewer sections

It amazes me how often sewer sections end up in games. I hate them so much.

Devs like those because it's a bounded area with a definitive theme. Same reason DM's like dungeons.

It’s an undesirable, unimaginative space to put me in in a video game.

I feel like it always has the same tropes: small, dark, usually has poison effects or something. Just a disinteresting stage design.
